Our stay at this property was more than we could have hoped for. The fact that we do not speak German did not interfere with our stay in the least. Our hostess and her daughters were warm, kind and helpful. The property is well equipped and spotless. The large deck with its incredible view made evening meals romantic and relaxing. The welcome basket of fresh vegetables and homemade jam was unexpected but so appreciated. The location of this property is just what we wanted, off the beaten track. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Having the ability to go to the wine cellar and make selections was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this property to friends, family and fellow travellers. The only recommendation we would make is the inclusion of a microwave in the kitchen.
Owner's Response: We are happy when our guests feel well at our house. We have some new equipment in our house. A washing machine, a barbecue grill and a mircowave.

Alles stimmt hier, das Häuschen mitten im Weinberg, schon von weitem zu sehen, die netten Gastgeber, der vorzügliche Wein im hauseigenen Keller und überhaupt der traumhafte Blich indas südoststeirische Wein- und Hügelland.Hier darf man sich wohlfühlen.

Ein gepflegtes, sehr sauberes Haus, gut geeignet für Paare oder kleine Familien, die Ruhe suchen (wenn die Dorfjugend nicht gerade Speedway-Übungen macht). Ausgezeichnete Möglichkeiten für Freunde des Radfahrens mit schönen, auch ambitionierten Rundtouren.
(Heimwärts gilt es immer einen Berg hochzufahren, das ist der Preis für die wunderschöne Lage). Bei Stadtsehnsucht ist Graz nicht weit. Der Gast kann sehr eigenständig leben, unkomplizierte Selbstbedienung bei Wein und Saft, die neue Waschmaschine macht das Glück perfekt. Auto ist für die Mobilität notwendig.

Freundlich, aber unaufdringlich wurden wir von der Hausfrau abgeholt, hinauf begleitet und über alles im Haus so informiert, dass wir uns sofort wohl fühlten. Und wie wir uns wohl fühlten diese wenigen Tage Anfang November 2008! Diese Lage! Diese Ruhe, und die so stimmungsvolle geschichtsträchtige Umgebung: Straden, und all die anderen Ortschaften, die wir mit dem Auto abklapperten. Und erst die erstklassigen Weine im Keller des Hauses, wo man einfach ankreuzt, was man nimmt und natürlich auch mitnimmt nach Hause, um sich an dieses sauber, herrlich einfach und doch sehr komfortabel eingerichteten Häuschens gerne zu erinnern. Wir möchten, wenn es sich nur irgendwie machen lässt, wieder kommen!
