When we decided to visit the Seychelles, it was very important for us to live in a place that exuded comfort, rest and relaxation. John gave us that and so much more. He met us at the airport as previously arranged and showed us so much hospitality, we felt as if we had found a home away from home.

The description of the property did not do it justice. The accomodations, view and ambience of Eden Island exceeded both of our expectations. Our apartment was very spacious, clean, well-maintained and full of amazing views of the marina. It offered all the amenities you could ask for including modern furniture and appliances. We even had a grill on the terrace which was perfect for preparing our dinner of freshly-caught fish on the last night of our holiday.

Eden Island is a wonderful location with only minutes away from Victoria which is a nice, quaint town with all the basic amenities you need--restaurants, shops, museum and a few other sights to see. It is also just across a short bridge that connects to Mahe Island where we enjoyed driving around the island to explore the beaches, restaurants and other beautiful sights to see. Just remember to fill up on the petrol because there are only a few petrol stations on Mahe Island which are few and far between.

It really helped that John was right there to give us advice and he went above and beyond to attend to our needs, including taking us out on his boat to go diving and snorkelling. Not only was he a great tour guide, but moreover, John and his wife were the perfect hosts.

It was definitely good times, good friends and the perfect holiday destination!
