A bright spacious brand new apartment located on the Eastern side of Dobrota 100 metres from the sea. It consists of a hall, double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom with shower, a large fitted kitchen and dining /lounge area along with an upstairs gallery bedroom. 70 m2 it sleeps 4-6 comfortably with a bed settee in the lounge. There are two balconies. One is off the double bedroom overlooking the mountains at the rear while the front balcony is South facing, adjoins the lounge and offers a fantastic view over the beautiful Bay of Kotor. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and can be cooled or heated as required. Modern conveniences include a washing machine, electric cooker, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, iron, CD radio, travel cot and highchair. Italian terracotta tiles keep the property cool and easy to clean. Parking is at the rear of the building or in the downstairs car park. The apartment is perfect for families and couples seeking a romantic relaxing holiday.

The apartment is located in the quiet upmarket residential area of Dobrota on the sunny side of the Bay of Kotor, voted one of the most beautiful bays in the World. Just 100 metres from the sea it is a short walk to the seaside promenade where you can find excellent restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, historic churches, small beaches, stone jetties and sea captain's palaces. You can walk, swim, fish, sail or just relax and enjoy the magnificent mountain and sea views in Southern Europe's only Fjord. Passing cruise ships, luxury motor boats and yachts add to the experience. Close by is the old walled Venetian town of Kotor with its narrow alleyways, historic buildings, restaurants, boutiques, ramparts and harbour listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Beautiful Perast, Risan's Roman mosaics, the stunning Lustica Peninsula, Mount Lovcen, King Nikola's Palace in Cetinje, Tivat, historic Budva with its excellent beaches, Skadar Lake and Sveti Stefan are a short drive away.

  • Prices are in euros and are for the property per week or for the property per night. Payment is acceptable in euros or pounds stirling and can be made by personal cheque or bank transfer. A 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance paid 6 weeks before arrival. Last minute bookings require payment in full. A refundable security deposit of €150 is payable on arrival to our property management company. This is returned once the property has been checked for damage following your departure. Discount is available on stays of more than 2 weeks. Check out is usually by 10am and check in is from 1600 onwards. Clean bed linen and towels are provided. Our property management company are close by and speak excellent English. They will 'Meet and Greet' you and help with any questions you may have. Long term lets are available.

Notes: The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric fan oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge, microwave, kettle together with plentiful crockery, glassware, cutlery, cooking utensils and cleaning materials. You can dine on a beautiful tempered orange glass Montenegrin table with matching chairs or relax in the comfortable lounge. If you prefer to sit or eat outdoors the lounge balcony has a table and chairs. It is a perfect place to watch the sun go down, admire the amazing scenery and passing ships while sipping a glass of the excellent local wine. The apartment is very modern, located on the third (top) floor and reached by a flight of steps. Very young children or elderly or infirm people may find the gallery stairs difficult to negotiate. Staying in the apartment provides an opportunity to live alongside local families for the ultimate Montenegrin experience.

Local Activities: You can swim or fish from the tiny beaches or stone jetties in the calm clear sea just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Fish are plentiful and there is some nice sea bass to be caught. Dobrota faces South West so gets the sunshine all day making it ideal for sunbathing. The Adriatic Coast is a 20 minute drive away and here you will find lots of beautiful beaches to suit everyone's taste. The apartment is ideally located to explore all of Montenegro, a very mountainous country and one of the most naturally beautiful in Europe. Must sees include the Tara Canyon (the second deepest in the World), the luxury hotel island of Sveti Stefan, historic Budva and Kotor, the old Royal Capital at Cetinje, beautiful Perast with its offshore islands, the Njegos mausoleum on Mount Lovcen and Skadar Lake which is the largest in the Balkans.

Travelling: Most people fly into Montenegro but you can travel into the country from Italy by ferry (Bari to Bar) or overland by car or public transport including rail from Serbia. The nearest airport to the apartment is Tivat (6km) and there are direct flights from London Gatwick with Montenegro Airlines. Dubrovnik Airport (70km) has a wide selection of direct flights from the UK and Ireland and is only 1.5 hours away by car. Carriers include Easy Jet, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Thomsonfly, Flybe, Fly Globespan and Jet2.com. Contact your nearest airport or chosen airline for flights and availability. Podgorica Airport (80km) currently has no direct flights from the UK or Ireland. It is recommended to book a car as soon as you book your flight. Car Hire is available at the airports. If you book a car at Dubrovnik Airport it is a legal requirement that you tell them you are taking the car into Montenegro. Montenegro has an excellent local bus and taxi service.
