Vilamoura is situated on the central Algarve coastline and is only a 20 minute drive from Faro Airport. The Famous Marina has 1,000 berths and has many top class restaurants and bars and designer boutiques. The Marina offers all sorts of activities from Shark Fishing and Dolphin Watching to Leisurely Cruises to view the wonderful coastline or take to the dinghies to navigate the historic caves and grottoes. Quarteira the next resort to Vilamoura has a fun gypsy market every Wednesday and Loule' has a bustling Saturday market - well worth a visit! Vilamoura has a choice of local supermarkets with a good range of products - but the Algarve shopping centre in Guia is a must for serious shoppers! Vilamoura has 2 fantastic beaches - the marina beach and Falesia - both very safe and very flat, ideal for families and both have restaurant + toilet facilities. Golf can be arranged at many outlets locally for all of the five local championship courses at special rates.

Additional Information about rental rates: Anyone booking a holiday with us in September/October 2009 will be eligible for our 3 x 1 offer giving you free nights to add to your booking or to use in 2010. A deposit of 30% of the price of your apartment rental is due within 7 days of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining 70% is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If booking less than 2 weeks prior to arrival full payment to be paid within 5 days of booking. If payment in full at time of booking you will receive a 5% early booking discount (Valid for bookings made after 28th August 2009) A £200 security breakages deposit is payable on arrival to reception, this is fully refundable once the property has been inspected and keys have been returned. A £50 fee will be charged with units with Jacuzzis. Please always check to see if we have late changes, our aim is to be the best.

Check In & Check Out Times: Please note that the check-in time will be from 15:00hrs, early check - in may be possible but please confirm beforehand. Check - Out is for 10:00 as we have to prepare the property for the next arrivals. Please respect this, we have facilities for you to leave your luggage and you have shower facilities and changing areas. Thank you for your consideration.

We stayed at these apartments from 10th August for one week and loved them! Three of us stayed in a 1 bed apartment and there was plenty of room, two single beds and a leather sofa which converted into a double bed. They are furnished to a very high standard and we couldn't fault them at all. There is a lovely pool (and an outside Jacuzzi!) with plenty of sun beds available. There is a bar next to the pool but no restaurant yet, however there are a few places to eat and a supermarket about a 5-10 min walk away. The apartments are located a little way away from the Marina and beach (apparently 20 min walk) but we just jumped in a taxi for €5. We would definitely recommend these apartments!

First class accommodation beautiful setting

I stayed in the first week of this new complex opening so knew that there were likely to be teething problems. The price we paid reflected this and the team running the complex were keen to resolve any issues swiftly. The standard of accommodation was excellent with tasteful fittings and spacious rooms with all mod cons. We had 2 one bedroom appartments with stunning views overlooking the golf course. The corner appartment had an incredible outside decking area, which I had difficulty getting my teenage daughters to move from each day.
When we stayed the restaurant had not opened yet which meant that at nightime you needed to either self cater or go into town. There are a few restaurants locally but they are limited, ideal for a quick lunch. The bar also closed in the evenings which meant that the complex was very quiet
To really appreciate the area a car is needed but for a short break or a golfing break it is not essential. The walk into town is easy and direct it takes 20 minutes, the beach is a little closer about 15 minutes.
Vilamoura is a classy compact resort but caters for all ages. There are numerous restaurants catering for all tastes and the beach is sandy and vast. The marina is a focal point for socialising at night. I took 2 teenage girls ( 17 ) there were plenty of places for them to go at nightime to dance but the focus was social rather than excessive drinking.
If you are a golfer or a budding golfer then this area is just ideal and you are totally spoilt for choice.
