The baroque castle Lenno dating from 1662 is prominently situated over Wlen a small city from the Middle Ages. Castle Lenno is subject to a long-term restorationproject. You can stay in the hostel or in a temporary annexbuilding which is situated next to the entrancebuilding with simple but neat rooms. Castle Lenno does not (yet) offer romantic suites.. The surrounding area is a real paradise. Nature is all-embracing with shimmering summers, flowering orchards, snow white hard winters. Endless wood paths, open fields and horizons. Game and other animals can be encountered anywhere, like roe, deer, foxes, wild boar, salamander, lizards. Sport-loving guests can enjoy hiking trails, maneges for horse riding and many walking routes in the hilly region. In winter season the castle functions as a ski retreat to enjoy your favourite winter sport activities on Lenno or nearby in Karpacz and Sklarska Poreba. It is a family friendly, value-for-money castle with simple facilities.

Castle Lenno is not regularly open from the end of October until end of April. Requests will be considered depending on the total number of guests.

• During the winterseason 1 November - 1 May the annex is usually not open, but when opened extra energycosts are applicable depending on the weather and how many people share the energy costs.

Sport facilities

You are free to walk round the extensive land belonging to the property. During dawn or dusk you can spot roe or other game on this land. Sports loving guests can enjoy many Moutainbike trails; go for a horse ride at one of the many maneges. The many inviting hiking routes range from easy walking to challenging hikes. There is a total of 300 kilometres bicycle routes laid out in the Iser and Sudeten Mountains. In winter the castle offers a retreat for skiing in nearby Karpacz and Sklarska Poreba. Whatever sports activity you are looking for, from challenging hikes in fairytale winter landscapes, tobogganing, rides with horse drawn sleighs and skiing to snowboarding, everything can be found in the vicinity and for cheap prices. Take a sunbath or dream away in the shadow of the fruit trees in the fruit garden embraced by the silence.
