The complex Cave Houses Cuevas Abuelo Jose has to your disposal cave house to enjoy from a different style of live, countryside holiday and nature. The cave has a fitted kitchen, spacious bathroom and an open fireplace and radiator. It is accessible for disabled. In the complex we have Arabic Baths. This cave has 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, (there is a possibility of extra bed for one person more) living room with chimney, TV, fitted kitchen with all the necessary equipment, fridge, microwave, electric cooker, frying pans, saucepans, dinner service and cutlery, complete bathroom with shower, water, bide, washbasin and hair dryer. The decoration is rustic. For share use: We have 700m2 garden, reception, parking, a picnic area with barbecues and a large outdoor swimming pool (18 x 5 m) to enjoy in summer months. Laundry service, shared washing machine & dryer.

We are situated in the comarca de Guadix.The views from the Cuevas Abuelo Jose are impressive in winter and summer as we have views to Sierra Nevada and to the valley around Guadix.Between the poplar trees you can see Guadix Cathedral and the village of El Bejarin as well as the chimney of the historic sugar refinery of Benalua (which is the symbol of the village) and the Terreras (the colours and shapes of the landscape) which make this area so special. From here you can easily visit other areas such as Granada and the Alhambra, the Sierra Nevada and the beaches of Almeria, Ubeda y Baeza or take part in many activities like, trekking, mountain biking and walking, archery, rappels, climbing,horse riding or tour guided (cultural route to Guadix,visit the Lacalahorra´s castle, dolmens route, village route or visit to winery)
