The cottage is set on a hillside with views over a very peaceful valley. Within ten minutes drive of the beautiful village of Cordes-sur-Ciel, the cottage offers visitors a fantastic base from which to discover this magnificent corner of France. Tranquility and beauty surround. Built virtually on one level and is ideal for a couple or families as well as those with mobility problems. We pride ourselves on the facilities and cleanliness of the cottage which is in an excellent position to take advantage of all the local attractions. Within a 25 minute drive there is a superb outdoor activity centre which includes: waterskiing, downhill skiing, a swimming lake, huge zip wire traversing the lake, and a summer bobsleigh run - all great fun for the youngsters and the young at heart. the cottage is also perfectly situated for walking, cycling or just relaxing by the secluded, private pool whilst sipping a glass of our superb local wines. The choice is yours.........

  • Notes on prices:-
    To compensate for expenses incurred and the risk of not reselling the holiday, the following cancellation charges will apply: (holiday insurance is advised) Up to 14 days - 90%. Over 14 days, up to 35 days - 80%. Over 35 days, up to 56 days - 50%. Over 56 days - deposit only. The bond is £150.

    Changeover day:-
    The rental period is from Saturday (arrival 4pm onwards) to Saturday (depart 10am).
  • Booking notes:-
    A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the appropriate deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total rental. A 'bond' to cover possible breakage or damage is required. (Refunded if not required). The balance of the rental must be received 8 weeks before the start of the holiday, the 'bond' being payable at the same time. The bond is refunded (if not required) two week's after the end of the holiday.

Notes: We pride ourselves on the very high quality and cleanliness of the cottage. Guests have regularly commented on the same. We provide bath and hand towels. (Towels for the pool are NOT provided). Linen and towels are changed weekly. There are no steps in the garden just a gently ramped path to the new swimming pool (9m x 4m). Four moulded steps lead into the pool which is graduated from 1 metre to 2 metres in depth. Pool equipment and sun-loungers are provided. A pool alarm is also fitted. Safe usage of the swimming pool and all cottage equipment is the total responsibility of guests. Sun loungers and chairs are provided as is the pool play equipment for youngsters (and adults). The exceedingly quiet lane through the village, which passes by the cottage, is a designated walking and cycling route. There is easy parking on the premises plus table-tennis, badminton and children's games.

The cottage is situated on the edge of a very quiet hillside village, but within ten minutes of the nearest town (Cordes sur Ciel). There are no shops in the village of Itzac, but there is a public telephone. 'Pottery painting workshops'. We offer 'pottery painting workshops' for children at our own house which is 10-15minutes from Itzac - the workshops are two hours in length and give mums and dads time together without the kids, safe in the knowledge that their youngsters will be in very good hands.

Ski: Within 3 hours driving in the winter months, guests can be skiing down the slopes in the Pyrenees. There is an excellent selection of ski resorts and crossing into Spain is another easy option. Ski slopes cater for all levels of skiing.

Golf: There are several very good golf courses within a 70km radius. The courses cater for the experienced players and those who have only just started to play.

Other Activities: Adventure park, ballooning, bird watching, boating, canoeing, cycling, drawing and painting, golf, photography, flying.
