Its location close to commercial and cultural centres of Málaga and Granada as well as to several golf courses, make Calaceite Residencial a perfect place for your holidays.
Calaceite Residencial is located between Torrox Costa and Nerja, at km 286.1 of the Carretera Nacional 340, on a superb location.
Calaceite Residencial is very well communicated by highway to Málaga Airport (30 minutes) and very close to Torrox Costa (2 minutes) and Nerja (5 minutes), two nice Andalusian villages known for enjoying the best climate in Europe, their mild winter temperatures allow the growing of fruit trees such as avocado or papaya.
You can find a diverse landscape on the Costa del Sol. It contains everything from mountains, sea, rural villages and popular tourist resorts. The beaches are cleaned every day, with services including restaurants, bars, beach umbrellas, showers, palm trees, disabled access and water sports, to name but a few. You can also find small secluded coves, if that is your preferred taste. There is also magnificent nightlife on offer and stylish boutiques and shops of every kind.
The town of Nerja is a small, old fishing village that has kept it's old charm, with small narrow streets and many cheap restaurants in the town centre. The area has a very nice climate all year round, which makes it perfect for holidays. It also has much to offer in terms of sight-seeing the famous Nerja caves and the historic villages.
There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in Nerja to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town.
The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach.
However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometers from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains.
Torrox is a sizeable village some 4km inland from its coastal offshoot and not without charm. The centre is very pretty with brilliant white-walled houses clinging to the steep slope on which the town is built.
