Situated just a few steps from the village square, our house is ideally located for all local amenities. Our house is ideal for larger families or groups, but can also accommodate small families and couples. On the ground floor, you will find a traditional arched entrada, tiled staircase, cosy kitchen and courtyard. There are 5 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus salon, studio and also a traditional 'museum kitchen'. Last but not least, there is a roof terrace with spectacular views of the Tramuntana mountains and Puig Major - a perfect place to relax and soak up the tranquil atmosphere of Fornalutx village life!

Situated in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, in a spectacular valley that starts from the Puig Major and descends towards Soller, Fornalutx has been described as 'the prettiest village in Spain'. Set in a tranquil valley of orange and lemon orchards, Fornalutx is only 15 minutes away from a sandy beach at Port de Soller, and half an hour from the beautiful city of Palma. The area around Fornalutx is particularly popular with cyclists and hikers who enjoy exploring the wide selection of nearby trails. The village itself is very picturesque and has won several awards for conservation. The pretty village square is surrounded by an old church and several cafes, and the village boasts a number of very good restaurants serving local and continental food.

The listing description was accurate regarding the house, location, and all facilities. The property was well-maintained and in a very clean condition. The owner provided good customer service, we were greeted by Sari, and we definitely did not want for anything, everything was provided. We visited 2 restaurants the Mirador with spectacular views and good food and the Es Turo and we can recommend the Suckling Pig and the Lamb, wonderful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday.

Great traditional house with all mod cons and every effort made by the owners to make us the guests welcome. The village is beautiful and what views from the roof terrace! The village residents are so friendly and it was great to welcomed by Sari when we arrived. We spent some time viewing the various pictures and artifacts displayed in all the rooms- quite a collection. We found plenty of places to eat and drink in and around Fornalutx and would recommend 'Es Turo' and the 'Mirador' for both food and views. There are many enjoyable walks in the local area and splendid touring along the coast and in the mountains . We will certainly return.

Lovely house in a beautiful village in a great part of Mallorca!
The property was clean, well-equipped and extremely spacious and it was great to have some outdoor seating on the roof terrace to enjoy balmy evenings.
The village was very pleasant with a great little bakery for fresh bread every morning and a small Spar selling all the basics.
Fornalutx is ideally situated for those seeking peace and quiet and a wonderful base to explore many of the walking options in the area. Highly recommended!

Just to say that we did indeed have a great time. When it rained we did our yoga in your front room and when the sun shone we did it round the pool up the hill. We all loved your house and I think everyone had their own sitting room as well as bedroom. It is such a sweet house and the furniture, pictures and everything made it really special – as did the bottle of Cava I gather the occupants found there to greet them. Sari was very kind too, in spite of the fact that the person trying to get in to the house was usually not the one who had taken the key. What a lovely village it is, with great walks. We may well go back next year, in which case you are sure to hear of us again.
