This brand new luxury apartment is located in the beautiful village of Prcanj and has fantastic views of Kotor bay. Today Prcanj is a quiet, relaxed place where lovely old stone buildings line the shores, but the impressive sea captains' houses and incredible cathedral bear witness to its glorious past. The village has some nice local restaurants and small grocery shops and is just 5 km for the UNESCO heritage town of Kotor. This spacious two-bedroom apartment (4+2, 60m2) was completed in 2009 and has been bought by the owners for personal use as well as to let. The apartment has high quality furniture and fittings throughout, plus a large balcony (25m2) from which to enjoy the stunning sea views (180°). It is just a one-minute walk from the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic, but also has a outdoor pool and a parking. Part of a small development with onsite management this would be a perfect place for both families and friends to spend a holiday.

Travel 15 minutes' drive from Tivat airport (Montenegro Airlines). 90 minutes' drive from Dubrovnik airport in Croatia (various airlines). 90 minutes' drive from the airport at Podgorica, capital of Montenegro. Car hire is widely available at airports, and recommended for stays of more than one week, but there are good local buses to Kotor and taxis are inexpensive. Airport pick-up and drop-off can be arranged, from 20 euros Tivat, 60 euros Dubrovnik (each way) per taxi. Distances Kotor 5km. Tivat 15km. Perast 18km. Budva 25km. Sveti Stefan 35km. Cetinje 60km. Skadar Lake 70km. Dubrovnik 85km (shorter by ferry). Podgorica 90km.

We (2 couples 50+) enjoyed a week in this lovely and well appointed apartment with stunning views over trees and the bay of Kotor. The local area of Prcanj is pretty and quiet, and there are a couple of very nice restaurants we could walk to. Visitors should be aware that the property is reached via a very steep hill which might not suit older or less fit people!
Kotor is about 10 minutes drive down a narrow road that borders the sea, with little room for manoeuvre but is worth the risk! We climbed the magnificent walls up the mountain behind the town to be rewarded with fabulous views of the whole bay. We also visited Perast on the other side of the bay, the National Park and Mausoleum at the top of the mountains, the towns of Cetinje and Tivat, all of which were picture postcard pretty and well worth the visit. We drove past Budva further down the coast and didn't stop as we couldn't find anywhere to park. It looked very commercial compared to Kotor.
We would recommend this property to friends. We had a fab holiday.
We hope that further to our comments, the owner will provide bath towels rather than just hand towels, and we would have appreciated a small 'welcome pack' with water, bread and milk on arrival.
