Photos and Description of this Caccamo holiday house Sunny disposition, corner house, sleeps 3 to 4, overlooking the local forest.

The property sleeps a maximum of four and has two floors. It is an 80 square metre townhouse. Upstairs is a queen size double bed and fitted wardrobe, a lounge which overlooks the local forest and hills. There is sky tv available, included in the price. There is also an upstairs toilet and small sink. The kitchen is downstairs and fully equipped, including fridge/freezer, full cooker with oven and a kitchen table. There is a utility room which has a washing machine, ironing board, and hairdryer. Downstairs there is another sofa which coverts to a double bed. The main bathroom is also downstairs with a powerful shower and hot water. Located in the historic part of town the cobbled streets are narrow but you can drive down and park next to the house or if easier park for free at the nearby church and walk down. The castle is a ten minute walk from the townhouse, as is the main high street.

The historic centre has cobbled stoned narrow streets and an eleventh century castle. The peaceful mountain town is situated approx 500 metres above sea level and is about five miles from the sea. There is a busy market on Saturday, lake rosa marina and 33 Churches. The population is of around 8000 people. The nearest sandy beach is in the west-part of Trabia, about 20 mins away, where there is free access to the beach. There is also paid access which includes use of showers/changing rooms, toilet facilities, restaurants/bar Termini imerese an historic port town about 15 mins by car from caccamo has a main-line train station. There are beaches all along the coast line, so there are plenty to choose from. The famous beach resort of Cefalu is 40 minutes away on the motorway or coast road, to the east of caccamo. Palermo approx 1hr from caccamo and is a fabulous day trip to include the Palermo opera house and mondello beach. Flights to palermo,from UK, with Ryanair & easy jet.
