You will be just a couple of minutes stroll from the Beach and Pier as well as the finest Dining and Shopping in Port Aransas. Relax in the hammock or porch swing under the trees and enjoy some of the cool shade the lush yard has to offer. No loud high rise condo balconies looking at you here! Our home is Private, beautifully landscaped, it features many tropical plants which attract a host of gorgeous birds right up into the yard.Our spacious home allows you to stretch out and relax while still sleeping 8. Features include a gourmet kitchen, large living room, oversized garage, 2 brick patios, screen porch, 2 baths, 3 bedrooms (including 2 bunk bed units), fully fenced yard, barbecue grill, fish cleaning area, beach gear, 40' HDTV, dvd & satellite TV, and WiFi access! Port Aransas is home to many fishing tournaments as well as the Infamous Sandcastle Contest! The University of Texas Marine Research Center is located in town as well. The beaches around Port A are also the nesting grounds of Ridley's sea turtles. Classes are also available year round at the Art Center. Surfing and wind surfing instructors would love to hear from you as well. There is no shortage of fishing charters, and dolphin watch tours are a favorite! So much to do!

    * Damage deposit - credit card will be held open for 30 days to cover any damages or extreme utility usage.
    Pets Require Owners Written Permission. Pet rate is $25.00 per dog per night. Pet owners are required to remove all 'evidence' of their pooch when they leave, including waste and hair. Pet damage deposit is handled in the same manner as renter damage deposit.

    * Per night rate is based on occupancy of 4- additional guests (up to a max of 4 additional) are at a rate of $10.00 per night per guest.

So Much to See and Do!: : Port Aransas holds much to see and do! Port A hosts many fishing tournaments, as well as a sandcastle competition that is nothing short of astounding! Whether you like to mosey about, or bicycle everywhere, your entertainment needs will be met. Spend some time strolling along the shore holding hands or beachcombing. Since you can bring your pooch- bring the dog and the frisbee to the beach with you. Ride the bicycle down to the University Marine Science Center or over to the local library to check out some videos. Or head out the front door turn to your right and walk over to the homemade fudge shoppe. Gosh, you could just relax in the porch swing with your morning coffee and watch the hummingbirds dart in and out of the cape honeysuckle. Relax in the hammock in the shade with a cool beverage and sway with the palm trees. Come nightfall don't forget Port A does not have the big city light pollution so many of us have grown accustomed to - The stars are magnificent!

Great vacation for family - including the dogs!

This very charming beach cottage was exactly the retreat my family hoped for.  We have two small children and found the house to be very accommodating and extremely clean.  We also brought the dogs - they loved the big yard and short hop to the beach!  

The decor is beachy chic and all the fixtures, finishes and appliances are upscale.  The location is great for walking to both the beach and to the various shops/restaurants around town.  The yard is fantastic and after looking around we discovered what a rare thing a yard like this is to find in the area.  You just have everything you need to be right at home here and I cannot say enough good things about this property.
