The apartment is tastefully furnished, superbly located. It is placed in a small quiet street; the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. No need for a car as the beaches, harbour and Bastioni are 15 min walk. There are also supermarkets, post, bus stop, newsstand etc.. nearby. It sleeps four people very comfortably - one double bed and two single bed. The apartment has got the water reservoir in case of water lacking. The apt has got air con & heating, large TV, DVD player, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher and Wireless internet connection. The airport of Alghero is 15min by car.

Alghero is the most important city in Sardegna, where the sea is beautiful. The fine Alghero architecture is Catalan and worth the trip alone. Historical ruins, nature reserves, pristine beaches and quaint villages are close by and if you love spectacular vistas of mountain and sea, you will find them here. You can explore the spectacular Neptune’s Grotto in the morning by car or by ferry. The apartment located in a very quiet area, just 1 kilometres or a 15 minutes walk from the sea. There are bus stop, supermarkets, post, bar and newsstands nearby. The apartment is located a 15 minutes from the old town.

  • 50 Euros is for cleaning the apt. at the departure and the providing of bed linen and towels for the renters
  • 200 Euros as a deposit on entering the apartment in case of damage or improper use of the apartment . This will be returned at the departure if everything is in good condition and the apartment is left as it was found.

The property is modern, spacious and well equipped. It was very clean. There was plenty of room to put our clothes and accessories.
There is everything you need in the kitchen to make your meals. The big supermarket is in easy walking distance.
It was very nice to have some basic food and drink waiting for us in the fridge because we arrived tired on a hot night. We enjoyed a very good reception and welcome from the owners. The other residents in the neighbouring appartments were very friendly to us. It is good family accommodation.
The property is in a quiet location; on the other hand it is a little bit difficult to go to the beach and get back to the property and out again, as it takes about 30 minutes to walk to centre of town. The taxi fare was 8 Euros to get back after a night in town. There is a bus stop around the corner which for 75 cents per person takes you right along the sea front to a quiet beach amongst the pine trees.
If you are of average fitness this is fine, but the property would not be suitable for somebody with mobility difficulties.
I would recommend this property to my friends and acquaintances.
Alghero itself is wonderful. We enjoyed the beach, bike hire ( with the promenade cycle track) boat trips and evening walks in this friendly town.
