La P'tite Boulangerie is on two floors with a double bedroom and shower-room upstairs, a folding bed suitable for a child, and a double sofa-bed in the open-plan living area downstairs. Totally renovated in 2007, this cottage is suitable for year-round holidays. Featuring the original bread oven in one corner, a full kitchen, wood-burner and comfortable furniture. Les Ecuries, two semi-detached gites created from the old stables, are on one level only and each have a double bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living area, full kitchen and shower-room. All the gites have French terrestrial TV, a DVD player, radio/CD player and an electric hairdryer. Outside in the grassed courtyard each gite has garden furniture for al fresco meals, there's a hangar with ping-pong table, dart board and other games, and behind the Ecuries is a sunny 10m x 5m swimming-pool in it's own enclosed garden with patio, charcoal barbecue, wooden table and chairs and 2 sun-loungers for each gite.

This old cottage was completely renovated in 2007 and is on two floors with beams and wooden flooring featuring throughout. The old bread oven forms a niche in the corner of the living-room and a CD/Radio, French TV and DVD player are provided. The fully fitted kitchen has a gas oven and 4 ring gas hob, a separate fridge and freezer, a microwave/grill and an electric coffee filter. There are fans for the summer and electric heating and a wood burner for winter holidays. Everything is provided for your comfort, but don't hesitate to ask if you require any other equipment.

Chaunay is a little market town set in arable fields (maize, barley, sunflowers, wheat) in south Vienne on the road between Poitiers and Angouleme. Nearby attractions are Futuroscope, La Vallee des Singes, Parc la Belle, Les Geants du Ciel and many others. Good cycling country, fishing, kayaking, walks. Lovely local market towns such as Lezay, Civray and Ruffec. La Rochelle, with its old port, walled town, seafood restaurants and beaches, is just over an hour away and is a wonderful day out. Cities such as Poitiers, Angouleme, Cognac and Limoges are also worth visiting.

  • A £50.00 non-refundable deposit is payable to secure your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday. Payment in Euros is accepted at the rate of exchange applicable at the time of booking. Arrival and departure days are flexible. Late booking payments can be discussed with management. Arrive no earlier than 4.30 p.m. and no later than 9.00 p.m.; depart between 08.00 a.m. and no later than 10.00 a.m. - alternative times can be arranged with management in advance, depending on previous and following bookings. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a complimentary bottle of wine await your arrival; please ask in advance if you need anything else. Book two gites and get a 10% discount; book all three gites and get a 15% discount. Returning guests gain a 5% discount over and above any other discounts offered. We aim to please, so do ask if you have any special requests.

Notes: La P'tite Boulagnerie is suitable for winter lets for a single person or a couple as it is fully double glazed and insulated with electric heating upstairs and a wood-burner downstairs. There's a ping-pong table, dartboard, boules and other games in the hangar next door and 2 sun-loungers with cushions are provided for each gite in the swimming-pool area. Bath towels are provided, but please bring your own swimming towels. If you have no space in your luggage, swimming towels can be provided for a small charge. The washing machine is shared by all the gites and one clothes airer is provided per gite. Smoking is allowed outside and ashtrays are provided.
