This apartment was fully renovated in 2005. The 120 sqm of living space are distributed in 3 bedrooms with build in cupboards and large windows for nice day light. 2 Bathrooms (1 ensuite ) both with bathrooms. Large open kitchen, fully equipped. Lounge and dinning areas from which you access the 150 sqm terrace. The terrace has got a porch to enjoy breakfast and the rest of the meals outside and protected from the sun. 4 sun loungers when not fancying the beach and nice surrounded garden beds. Views are open to the mountains. Garage if required. Fully heated and air conditioned. TV and DVD player.

Port de Sóller is a nice and quite coastal spot with a nice sandy beach, it is perfect for families with small children or friends and couples to relax. There are plenty of restaurants and shops at only 10 steps from the apartment block. The marina is at 15 minutes walk and the tram stop is at only 3 minutes walk. The tram takes you the the centre of town Soller, again a nice little town with a lot to do and visit. From the marina there are daily trips on boat that will take you to Sa Calobra or Cala Tuent to spend the day ona different beach or for walking into the mountains for a change.

Great apartment, great location, great view

I stayed in this apartment for 1 week along with my wife and our 7yr old son.

We had a really great time.

The apartment was presented in immaculate condition and as described.

The apartment is right on the beach, literally 10 metres from the front door to the beach over a nice pedestrianised area with lots of restaurants and cafés. (Tip: Chez Nous downstairs do lovely croissants, pain au chocolats …etc freshly made every morning.)

Our son is disabled and often uses a large buggy. The apartment is accessible via the rear entrance (the front has a few steps) and there is a lift to the first floor where the apartment is.

The terrace of the apartment really gives you so much space. We had breakfast there every morning with lovely views of the mountain range.

The owner supplied a good information pack to get to grips with the local area.

(Another Tip: if you plan on hiring a car at any point, arrange it as early as possible as there are not that many hire car firms in the area, we tried hiring with 2 days notice and everything was fully booked.)

The beach is in good condition although sometime the sea can get a fair amount of litter washed up in places, presumably due to the nearby harbour.

(Tip 3: make sure to clean out your ears after swimming in the sea. There are fresh water showers all along the beach.)

There are some really nice restaurants around the whole bay, we ate mostly around the marina, a lovely atmosphere. nearby Soller is also worth a trip to eat on the main square. We went to Café Central which had good service and food at a reasonable price.

I would definitely consider coming back to this property for another holiday and would recommend it to friends and family. I also wish I'd stayed for 2 weeks as it's very easy to relax in Port de Soller.

(Tip 4: We booked our transfers before we left. It would have worked out about 30€ cheaper to have just caught a taxi off the street and they all have set prices, so you can't get ripped off)

Beach Apartment with Mountain Views

The apartment was everything that we could have hoped for. It was spotless and in a fantastic location, straight out of the front door and onto the beach.

It was very well equipped particularly for my baby grand-daughter, ie cups, plates, cutlery and the cot sheets were beautiful. She particularly liked the huge terrace which gave her plenty of room to run around. The lift was very handy for transporting the pushchair up and down.

We too, liked the cafe downstairs. The owners were very friendly and we had lunch in there 3 times. The restaurants were very good, particularly Restaurante es Passeig and El Pirata. They were not cheap but the food was superb!

The bus service was very good and enabled us to see other villages and Palma, but we came back by the little train. The tram enabled us to visit Soller itself for the evening.

I would certainly recommend this apartment and resort for anyone wanting a quiet spot in a lovely location with good transport links.
