A range of cafes, restaurants, bakers, mini-supermarket, butchers and banks around the village square.
Surroundings: Coast/Beach Costa Brava coast is 1 hour drive, nearest beach, Blanes. Exceptionally beautiful unspoiled Costa Brava village beaches slightly further, 1.5 hours drive, e.g. Calella de Palafruguel, Aigua Blava, Tamariu, Sa Tuna, Castel etc. Golf Montanya Golf Club, 15 minutes drive. Skiing Pyrenees skiing: Val Ter 2000 Ski, 90 minutes drive. Val de Nuria Ski, 90 minutes drive. La Molina Ski, 120 minutes drive.
Travel: Girona Airport, 30 minute drive. Barcelona Airport (El Prat) and sea port, 1 hour drive. Boulogne/Calais car ferry ports, 14 hours drive. Car not essential for staying in village. Though for travelling around this part of Catalonia, a car is essential. Distances The accommodation is located in Viladrau village with has all required amenities within less than 5 minutes walk. Nearest city is Vic, 20 minutes drive, for sightseeing, train connections and its twice weekly market. Barcelona, 1 hour drive. Girona, 40 minute drive.
