Superb 'away from it all' Gite

If you want a quiet, away from it all, relaxing holiday this gite is perfect. Part of a small group of accomodation it is the only one let at present. The owners were exceptionally helpful. We booked and arrived on the same day, well actually the early hours of the following morning. But they could not do enough to help us, even coming out at 3am to find us when we got lost!
The gite has everything you could need for your holiday. Cooking facilities, a microwave, dishwasher, english TV and a library of books and films for quiet evening in. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Fresh towels and linen were in place. The bedrooms are large and airy. The ground floor is spacious and the bathroom is huge! There's even a cat and dog if you miss your own!!
You will need a car if you want to see the sights because the gite is very secluded. That said, most points of interest around the coast of Brittany can be reached within an hour.
There are several large supermarkets close by. Plenty of pubs and bars and lots of restaurants.
There really was nothing negative to say about this property. We were very pleased to find that it was as described in the listing. We were even provided with directions to the neaby village. Chris will then come out and guide you to the gite as it is so isolated.
We took the tunnel and drove from Calais to the property in around 7 hrs. Or we would have done if we didn't miss a vital junction and drive 80 miles past the village to Brest! From Roscoff, which is probably the way we will cross the next time we use the gite, the journey is around 1 hour.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone. Good value, great accomodation, pleasing surroundings and lovely owners.
