When entering the studio sun and sea welcome you through the large bay window. On the right of the small corridor is a bathroom (with bath and shower) and a separate toilet. On the left are built-in cupboards and a small store-room with the hot water tank (Central heating is useful in winter or in spring in the evening) There is a portable air- conditioning unit Further in, the kitchen is on your right with electric cooker and oven, dish-washer, breakfast bar and washing-machine. The sofa, that can open into a double bed, is on the right wall in the roomy living room. Opposite is a dining-room recess with a large fridge in one corner,with the television in the other and the dining-room table and chairs in between. There are bunk beds in the small bedroom to the right. You can eat outside on the large balcony which accommodates a small table or the large dining room one if preferable or you can simply sit on a deck chair and enjoy life.

A versatile place. Across the promenade a sandy beach gently sloping into the sea pleasantly alive with holidaymakers but not overcrowded. At the foot of the building restaurants and shops offer fresh local food and wine. Perpignan is 10km away. Within easy reach inland there is a vast choice of excursions all doable within a day: the high peaks of the Pyrenees and their unspoilt medieval towns with their 12/13th century churches, Andorra, Cathar strongjolds perched on craigs, Barcelona and the Spanish Costa Brava. Along the French coast, Collioure which painters loved, Barcares, Banyuls known for its wine as is Rivesaltes. Not to forget that you are in Catalonia with numerous music festivals and the moving sound of the local Sardane. If the mood for a quick change from the beach takes you you are bound to find something to your liking.
