Le Manoir Cheverus has great character and is situated in the church square - ideal for groups of friends, celebrations and family gatherings and very child friendly. The rooms are large and retain many period features. English speaking caretakers welcome guests on arrival. Ample parking is available. Ground Floor - Sitting room with large marble open fireplace, sofas and chairs, DVD and video. Dining Room with marble open fireplace, traditional french dining furniture. Kitchen/Breakfast room with fitted units, butler sink, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, dining table, 2 high chairs. Utility room with fridge freezer and washing machine. Play room with children's toys, darts game and separate Study/Table Tennis room. First Floor - 3 large bedrooms with double beds, 2 ensuite bathrooms and 1 shower room. 1 large double bedroom with single beds and shared bathroom. Second Floor - 3 pretty attic rooms and shared bathroom. Z beds and cots available. Large garden with patio and BBQ.

St Denis de Gastines provides everything for the everyday needs. There are 2 boulangeries for morning croissants, 2 small supermarkets, a chemist and a post office, a restaurant with plat du jour menu and 2 bars serving snack meals. Car hire is available from nearby Ernee. Several places of interest are within easy reach. The pretty riverside town of Mayenne is only 15km away and has a variety of shops, restaurants, facilities for all sorts of sporting activities and a swimming pool. There is also a Saturday market and a hypermarket with excellent fish and wine departments on the outskirts of the town. The biggest and best street market however is at St Hilaire de Harcourt - approx 40 mins drive where you can buy anything from ducks to duvets. Fougere, the largest walled city in Europe is 20km away where there is a fine museum, cathedral and beautiful walks. Mont St Michel and Avranch beach are approx 30km away. Les jardins des Renaudies a Colombiers-du Plessis (8km) is a must.
