Chipping Campden is one of the most beautiful ancient Cotswold market towns, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The buildings are of mellow, honey coloured stone and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. The town is associated with the Arts and Crafts movement and offers a wide range of attractions for visitors, including medieval architecture, historic gardens and monuments, regular markets and unique shops. There are also numerous beautiful, quaint little villages waiting to be explored within a short drive.

Cultural events are held throughout the year, such as the Chipping Campden Music Festival, the Open Gardens weekend and the Robert Dover's Olympic Games, described as “the first stirrings of Britain’s Olympic beginnings”. Stratford on Avon and Blenheim Palace, the birthplaces of Shakespeare and Churchill, are cultural gems situated nearby, as are the dreaming spires of Oxford. Cheltenham and the famous racing festival lie 15 miles away.

Beautiful Property

Review Submitted: August 9, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
The House was absolutely beautiful with everything of the highest standard from the fittings, type of paint on the walls, thickness of curtains, quality of fabric of the duvet covers and duvets, to the quality of the kitchen equipment and the quality of the beds. The garden was gorgeous and many an evening was spent sitting in it. Chipping Camden itself is lovely with nice shops to visit and friendly locals in the pubs. We were astonished that a holiday home of this quality was rented for the price we paid. We felt that we recieved excellent value for money. The owner provided an excellent customer service.

All in all excellent in every way, we could find no faults.

Perfect place to visit Cotswolds

Review Submitted: October 19, 2011 Date of Stay: October 2011
This is a perfect place to tour the Cotswolds. Everything you need is right in Chipping Campden. Easy access to all the other beautiful towns and hamlets.
The house was comfortable and suited our party of four women. Loved the
terraced garden. We were lucky to have wonderful weather to take advantage of
the outdoor space. I will return as soon as I can and recommend to friends and
family.

Lovely long weekend at Maidens Row

Review Submitted: March 24, 2011 Date of Stay: August 2010
My family and I stayed in Maidens Row for a long weekend in the summer of 2010. It was beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and situated perfectly on the edge of Chipping Camden proper. We had our baby with us and the cot/facilities for him were spotless which does not always happen in private owner rental properties.

The garden was wonderful for al fresco dining, but equally we loved the breakfast room and tended to congregate there for most meals.

Lauren was a lovely host, very helpful and took the time to walk us through the house showing us where to find bits and pieces and how to operate some of the gadgets. We also appreciated the welcome basket on our arrival!

I would love to visit Maidens Row again and thoroughly recommend it for both short breaks and longer holidays as it is so comfortable and well situated in the Cotswolds.

Maidens Row, Chipping Campden

Review Submitted: January 11, 2011 Date of Stay: January 2011
This property & its location were superb. An ideal setting for a long weekend away as a birthday surprise for a deserving mother-in-law who had never sampled the beauty of the Cotswolds.
The spacious property allowed 6 family members to stay overnight & contained ample room to enable other family members to make surprise visits & be entertained during the days & evenings.
Chipping Campden itself is a beautiful village with everything there needed for a relaxing break. It is also well situated to allow you to roam further afield & explore the numerous beautiful Cotswold villages.
We hope to return one day &, if we do, this property will again be our choice.

Wonderful Family Experience in Cottswalds

Review Submitted: September 28, 2010 Date of Stay: September 2010
This house was absolutely perfect for my family reunion and get together in the Cottswalds. The house was immacuately clean, and had amazing character. I do not believe that any expense was spared with the decoration and furnishing of this house. We did a lot of entertaining, and everything we needed was provided - enough plates, cups, glasses pots and pans. Lauren had taken care of the small details that make a difference like laundry detergent, dish washer tablets, toilet paper, bin bags etc. I pretended the house was my own, and was sad to leave it. I will recommend this house to everyone I know, and definitely would like to return to it. Thank you Lauren for being so easy to communicate with, and for sharing your beautiful house with us.
