Charming villa situated in the lovely village Laroque des Albères (a 15min. drive to the seaside). The house is on 2 floors and very nicely decorated. The house is facing south, sun all day round on the patio and the pool. A big garden to enjoy, fully fenced, with electric gate so that children can play safely. The garage big enough to park 2 to 3 cars, outside private parking. A nice place to stay, with the village centre only a footstep away. The house comfortably sleeps 6 adults in three bedrooms. The house is always cool having air conditioning (reversible), shutters and tiled floors. A nice kitchen fully equipped, spacious lounge room with television corner and dining area. The house has a swimming pool (approx. 10m x 4m), about 1.5m deep, with large shallow steps to rest on.

The Pyrénées Orientales in the Languedoc Roussillon region is one of the most beautiful parts of France. This most southerly region, blessed with 300days of sunshine per year, is located next to the Spanish border and is also known as French Catalonia. The coast has long, wide, flat sandy beaches with a wide range of water sports, international golf course at St Cyprien, beautiful walking country in the foothills of the Pyrénées Orientales. The beaches give way to rocky bays and old port towns as Collioure (the inspiration for many artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Chagall…), Port Vendres, Banyuls-sur-Mer (famous for the production of the aperitif wine of the same name, Banyuls),… There is a wealth of natural and historical sites to visit. It is a stunningly beautiful area with a huge diversity of landscapes, many fascinating towns, mountains, ancient cities, white sandy beaches and modern resorts.
