A small front terrace leads to the main stable door entrance of the cottage. The ground floor is an open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. A steep staircase leads to the two bedrooms and spacious shower room. The master bedroom, with double bed, has a private balcony from which to enjoy the views of the countryside. The second bedroom has two single beds and a camp bed.

Villaviiciosa is on Spain’s northern Atlantic coast in between France and Portugal. Asturias is a largely unknown area of Spain to the outsider but is regularly visited by the wealthy people of Madrid who in many cases, have their holiday homes here. It is a mountainous region with the Picos de Europa at its heart, still the home to wild bears and wolves. The mountains hold snow in some years from November through to May.
