This small and simple property is set in lovely gardens, by the side of the property is a river with infrequent fishes, birds and the famous protected turtle Kareta-Kareta.The studio is equipped with all necessary things so you can have a pleasant staying. The studio has two beds (one double - one single) with bathroom, kitchen, AC, TV and private balcony. Private Parking is also available. In our garden you will enjoy the lovely sunny days under the trees.

Georgioupolis is a popular vacation resort with a great long beach (it goes for several Km) and an idyllic harbour with little fishing boats at the north coast of the island, between the cities of Chania and Rethymnon (35 km from Chania, 25 km from Rethimnon). A fishing village up to 1990 or so, it was discovered and has been transformed into a popular holiday destination over the past 15 years, without losing its original charm and tranquillity. Old eucalyptus trees and a small river that flows into the sea, create a distinctive and unique ambiance (it is a wildlife refuge). As for the location it is a great choice as a starting point for excursions into western Crete. At a distance of about 5 Km from Georgioupoli lies the Kournas sweet water lake that worths a visit.

Georgioupolis: The village houses a police station, municipality office, doctor's office and a pharmacist. There are also banking services, TAXI station, restaurants, tavernas, travel bureau. The long stretches of golden sandy beaches in front of the village, the lake of Kournas close by and the proximity of the cities of Hania and Rethimnon, make it a good starting place for visitors. There are excursions by small boats to the surrounding beaches. There is also a small road-going train that can take you to an excursion to the surrounding areas including the springs and waterfalls at the nearby village of Argiroupolis. Sightseeing in the area: the gorge of Samaria, the beach of Elafonissi, the Monastery of Arkadi, the Monastery and the beach of Preveli,the castle and the beach of Frangokastello.
