Chill out at Casa Serra Mar!!!!

If you want to chill out, its the place to go, If you want to travel out and do a spot of sight seeing, its the place to go. Animal lovers will love the pets, the pets will love the animal lovers!!!! Chris and Wendy took great care of us and were great guides. Loule is a lovely town and some gorgeous beeches are only a short drive away. The views from Casa Serra Mar are lovely and the evenings with a beer in hand watching the sun go down will never leave me. Its the most relaxed I have ever been. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you need. Chris booked the hire car and met us at the airport, nothing was to much of a bother for him. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a "chillout" holiday, but also there is plenty to do for families with kids with water parks, zoos, beeches and the pool is great. We eat out at some great resturants and the Portuguese love kids and are very accomadating. A car is recommended.

WHERE MEMORIES ARE MADE!! JUST MAGICAL!!

This was our first time as a family abroad and please believe me when i say that Casa Serra Mar is the most perfect and ideal setting for a truly wonderful holiday! You are first greeted by Chris and Wendy who truly could not have been more welcoming if their own family had arrived on their doorstep! Then you take in the surroundings of this beautiful place, the breathtaking views, the lovely child friendly pool, the welcome of the dogs and Cappy the talking parrot!! At once you feel at home and you can tell that this is exactly the atmosphere that they have tried to achieve and have succeeded 100%! You could not find two people more happy to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and this is not forced, just very natural and when leaving Casa Serra Mar you truly do feel as if you have made friends for life! We were ideally situated with rented car to visit many wonderful places and were fantastically situated far enough away from the airport but close enough to not have to endure long transfer times!! We truly did stumble upon a little gem in Casa Serra Mar, and every gem is usually set with some diamonds and those diamonds were definitely Chris and Wendy! Sad to be home but so happy to have gone!

Chris was kind enough to put a stay at his holiday home up for a prize in a raffle following the Tsunami disaster. I won the prize and then followed my first visit to Portugal and Casa Serra Mar. The stay up in the hills above Faro was so peaceful and the area so beautiful that I have been back every year since. My children and their friends and family now also love the place. My grandson loves wandering around the grounds, swimming in the lovely pool and playing with the people friendly dogs. If you fancy the beach, shopping or a bit of sightseeing, everything is not far away but then you can retreat to your peaceful place in the hills!
