Oasis de Capistrano: The villa is within walking distance of Nerja and Burriana beach. On Oasis there are two swimming pools, a childrens pool and two petanque courts. There are restaurants locally, a bus-stop 50 metres away and a well stocked supermarket 200 metres away. One of the restaurants is at the main pool and in addition to excellent meals it has an outside bar, a pool table and serves ice creams and snacks. It has entertainment some nights of the week and has internet access. Another restaurant/bar is even closer, being only about 60 metres away. Oasis has a 24 hour security guard.

Ski: The lovely Sierra Nevada Ski Resort is about 2 hours away, and will become a shorter trip once the new motorway is opened. This is an opportunity to drive through La Herradurra and Almunecar, 2 lovely coastal towns on the way. Take the road to Grandada, and you will see the city before you turn off at the easily seen signs for the Sierra Nevada. There has been wonderful skiing this year during the winter months right up to May. It is really worth a trip, even if you just sit at the restaurant and admire the snow capped slopes. reflecting in the azure blue skies. All ski equipment can be hired online, as well as ski passes. Golf: Golf: To the west of Nerja is Anoreta Golf, a parkland course, just 30 minutes drive. The design is a challenge to golfers of all levels. Water is a major hazard and is featured at eleven of the holes. Baviera golf is 10 minutes away. Another course landscaped to make the maximum potential of the views of the local mountains, pinewoods and the sea and enhanced with lakes and magnificent gardens. To the east, just half an hour's drive away, there is a 9-hole course at Salobrena.
