Ground floor 2 bedroom apartment with large swimming pool and garden. Fully equipped for a holiday away from home. Short stroll through cobbled streets to the market square where you will find an abundance of restaurants and pubs. Small supermarket in the village, cash point and internet cafe. Browse the shops in the side streets. About a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. The tour buses do a pick up in Ferragudo for the markets and other places of interest in the Algarve. Close to several award winning golf courses. For the children - Slide & Splash is not far by car.

Along the coastline between Portimao and Carvoeiro, the village of Ferragudo remains unspoilt, by-passed by the development of commercial tourism. This picturesque village is the most attractive fishing village in the Algarve. Our holiday apartment is to be found on the south side of the village, just behind the church, and enjoys views over the marina towards the lively town of Portimao. Its beach is possibly one of the more notable in the Algarve. The heart of the village is a short 5 minute stroll through narrow cobbled streets meandering down to the square and waterfront which hosts a wealth of restaurants and cafes. For those looking for an active holiday, golf courses, beach watersports, horse riding, hiking trails and a tennis centre are a short drive away. The nearest beach is less than 5 minutes walk. Cliff top walks and secluded coves are only a short stroll away. Ferragudo village has a bank, post office & internet café. During summer the water taxi goes to Portimao.
