La Grange has been recently refurbished and furnished to a high standard. Downstairs - A spacious lounge/diner with a log burner in large granite fireplace (an unlimited supply of wood is included in the rental) . The house is equipped with a Satellite TV, DVD & RadioCD player. Well equipped kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. Full sized Bath in ground floor bathroom. Upstairs - Minstrel gallery library and second bathroom with shower. Bedroom 1 - double bed and private sitting area. Bedroom 2 - 1 kingsize and I single bed. Bedroom 3 - 2 single beds. There is a bed settee available to sleep another 2 in the lounge if required together with a childs cot. An outside patio and barbecue area is available for use as is a full sized french Boules ( or petanque) court.

'La Grange' is set within 1 & 1/2 acres (6000 sq meters) of landscaped gardens and fruit orchards amidst rolling Normandy countryside. A tranquil setting yet within easy reach of several delightful market towns, a host of sandy beaches, and Mont St Michel. The stunning medieval cities of Rennes, St Malo, Dinan and the 'Gateway to Brittany' Fougeres are all within an hour or so by car, as is Bayeaux with its famous 900 year old tapestry. Normandy is of course famous for the D Day landings and these beaches are easily accessible. They form only a small part of the numerous sandy beaches that dominate this coast, some are reserved for swimming, other for watersports. There is a local watersport park for children, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an aquarium, golf, fishing, canoeing and cycling. The ferries for the Channel Islands leave from the port of St Malo the crossing to Jersey takes just 1 1/2 hours by ferry or 20 minutes by Plane from the local airport Dinan.
