This Spacious and well fitted 2 bed apartment has been furnished to the highest of standards, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, fully equipped kitchen and its sunny balcony is ideal for outside dining or enjoying a glass of something cold. It is equipped with air conditioning and heating for year round use and benefits from a outside, communal pool. There are many good restaurants and cafe bars in Cabanas along with enchanting little shops and a large supermarket. Cabanas beach is a beautiful naturally formed island separated from the mainland by the River Formosa. You can enjoy a two minute boat ride to this beach, which has 3km of amazing white sand.

Situated in the new Cabanas Golf resort this superbly furnished and well equipped 2 bedroom apartment benefits from a communal pool and all amenities within walking distance. Ideal for Golfers, Families, and Couples. The apartment is close to the European Championship Golf Courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Severiano Ballesteros which are only 15 minutes away. Tavira coastline is calm and peaceful, with extremely inviting eleven kilometres of fine white sandy beaches and very warm water. The branches are crossed by Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, offering pleasant boat trips and the chance to observe the typical wetland flora and fauna, most particularly the water birds. Tavira Island along with Praia do Barril, are the 2 most popular beaches in Tavira. But you might be interested in exploring the many but less populated beaches which are preferred by the local community.

the apartment was amazing, the management team made sure we had everything we needed and more, so thank you for that. cabanas was gorgeous, the beach was simply... wow. food was to die for, so fresh and tasty. we couldn't have had a better family orintated holiday if we tried. i am trying to get the rest of the family together to come out again next year, so i will be in touch. would and will be recommending this holiday to anyone and everyone.

2 bed Apartment in Cabanas

We stayed in this apartment in late August 09. It was clean and well furnished, with a large balcony and roof terrace. The facilities are all fairly new and in good order.

The view from the balcony does face the ocean but it is a fair distance away and other properties are blocking some of that view. There is also a single track rail line running near the property which you can hear on occasions, but it did not really bother us. There is still developments going on in the area, but these appear almost finished.

It is a bit of a walk into the centre of Cabanas and not all of it is on pavements, there are a fair few restaurants there to choose from and the beach (which you have to get a boat to) is very good. But do buy your own parasol as it will work out a lot cheaper than hiring theirs.

The apartment is quite close to the exit out of Cabanas so if you have a car and want to explore, it’s not a bad place to stay and Tavira only 4 miles west was very nice for an evening out. It’s only ½ hour from the airport and there are several golf courses nearby.

Overall a good place to stay if you have a car and you want a decent level of accommodation, without paying huge amounts for it.
