The villa is surrounded by magnificent grounds and secret gardens full of beautiful flowers and specimen trees all year round. It is also one of the few villas around the lake which offers direct access to a private beach, exclusive for the residents and guests of the Villa. Enjoy lying under the heat of the sun and swimming in the lake. The villa also has a play area with swings for children to enjoy. The interior of the apartment has been beautifully restored and luxuriously decorated. It offers a double bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living area, sleeping an extra 2 people. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a full entertainment system - Flat screen TV with Sky cable and DVD player. There is also a small rooftop terrace accessed from the bedroom or living area where you can relax enjoys the breathtaking, panoramic views of the lake. There is free private parking within the grounds of the Villa.

This eclectic apartment is one of a few located in an important historical Villa centrally located, in the town of Griante. It was built by the 'Ricordi' family - Milanese publishers back in the mid '800's. The villa became infamous after Giuseppe Verdi (a very famous opera composer) composed “La Traviata” there. The apartment is in an ideal location, just a stroll from the restaurants, bars and the ferry station of Cadennabia. From here, the ferry stops at all the popular towns of the 'Golden Triangle' - the towns of Bellagio, Varenna, & Menaggio as well as many more.

    If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.
    The final cleaning is offered free of charge
    Short Breaks: 3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff /4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff.
  • Additional Facilities: We offer a range of facilities, which are available for hire through our office ‘Happy Holiday Homes’ in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Extra full size bed- EU 85 per week , Italian Mobile Phone - EU 15 per week, Mountain Bikes - EU 60 per week, Internet Access - EU 15 per week, Air Conditioning- EU 80 per week, (Only if the property has an Air Con Unit and you would like to use it), Boat Mooring - EU 150 per week, (Only if there is a boat mooring available at the rental property).
  • There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form on-line and pay a 30 % deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

What an amazing place!!!
The only downside was the apartment was a little dark because it had one main window in the central part of the apartment, however just a few steps going up, we had a little private terrace to relax on and enjoy the views from far and wide! We didn’t have a car, as the ferry was only 5 mins walk, and there were a good selection of bars and restaurants 10 mins walk. Also we were right by the famous Villa Carlotta! The grounds round the Villa are beautifully maintained and we spent most days lounging outside.
