The apartment sleeps up to 4 people - there is a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The living room has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The residence has a beautiful pool inside the compound and from the pool area; you can enjoy wonderful views of Lake Lugano and the mountains surrounding it. There is also a private parking space. It is quiet; you can hear the birds singing in the apartment

There are less than a 5 minutes drive to the town centre and the shops. Porlezza, which sits on the eastern banks of Lake Lugano and is surrounded by lush green mountains that are a favourite destination for walking, hiking and cycling. There any many important churches in the area which are of huge artistic value. The most historical place of interest is the suburb of Cima, where you can see the ruins of an ancient fortress. A few kms away from the town, heading towards Menaggio, Lago del Piano and the Orrido di Corrido are worth a visit, and towards Val d'Intelvi the caves of Rescia and Orrido di Osteno rich in stalactites and stalagmites. The whole area is lively in the summer months, as well as being a beach resort, visitors also enjoy the extensive hiking trails that abound all around the neighbouring hillsides and mountains.

  • The service charge is 70 Euro for one week and 90 Euro for two weeks, this charge is inclusive of bed linen & towels, gas, electricity,water & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property).
    Tea towels & Beach towels are not supplied.
    If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.
    The final cleaning is offered free of charge.
    Short Breaks: 3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff /4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff /5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff.
  • Additional Facilities: We offer a range of facilities, which are available for hire through our office ‘Happy Holiday Homes’ in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Extra full size bed- EU 85 per week , Italian Mobile Phone - EU 15 per week, Mountain Bikes - EU 60 per week, Internet Access - EU 15 per week, Air Conditioning- EU 80 per week, (Only if the property has an Air Con Unit and you would like to use it), Boat Mooring - EU 150 per week, (Only if there is a boat mooring available at the rental property).
  • There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form on-line and pay a 30 % deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

We booked the apartment knowing there wasn’t a lake view. We were on a budget, but we still had a fantastic time here. The residence is new, the apartment is basic but cosy. Most of the time the pool was quiet so we swam and sunbathed alot. We were only a 6 min drive to the shops..for anyone who fancies a pool and is on a budget, then I highly recommend Residenza Due Laghi.
