For the Golfer:
The Oliva Nova Golf Club course is a par 72 links course with challenging water obstacles on all but 3 of the holes. Seve himself says:'This course offers great possibilities to all golfers, as it has short, medium and long holes, and fairways with left and right doglegs. I think it poses a challenge to any golfer.' To date, the course has hosted various official competitions, including tournaments for Spanish professional players. A driving range with 25 matted bays and a pitching and putting green are available along with a team of multilingual professionals offering tuition to all levels of golfer from the beginner to the low-handicap player.

Some Local Towns:
Denia is one of the most attractive places to visit on the Costa. Not just a tourist area, Denia has one of the most important harbours of the area, with ferry connections to Ibiza, Mallorca and others. This and the huge fishing fleet have made Denia a very prosperous city. The impressive main road of Calle de Marques de Campo is excellent for shopping. You will find many bars and restaurants. Try the excellent cakes and sweets of local confectionery and bakery shops, Denia is famous for them.
Oliva, with it's large orange trees becomes popular with spanish tourists in summer, as many people from Madrid have summer houses in the area. It never loses it's typical Spanish feel and if you are lucky, you can visit during one of the many festivals. The old downtown part of Oliva is wonderful. You will have to cross the national road just cutting the city, but you will get a wonderful overview over the church of Sant Roc, a former mosque.
