La Grange is situated in a secluded corner of a small hilltop village. It is one of six individually owned properties, which have been converted from a Perigordian farmhouse and barns. The properties share large landscaped grounds, their own swimming pool and all weather tennis court. Our house offers well designed, comfortable, four- bedroomed accommodation over 3 levels with a lounge area on the 2nd floor giving breath taking views and all the comforts of home including 42” plasma TV, DVD player and iPod Speakers. A well equipped kitchen is situated on the ground floor with extensive dining area and French doors leading onto patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. There are now 3 airports within easy driving distance of the property including Limoges, Bergerac, Bordeaux which fly from most UK airports - please call owner for more details.

St Paul Lizonne is a pretty hill village in the northern region of the Dordogne. It has a ‘Mairie’ and a twelfth century Romanesque church. In the surrounding area there are a good range of leisure activities. Horse riding, fishing and canoeing are all available locally. There is a 9 hole golf course nearby with a bar and restaurant. There are two river beaches on the Dronne at Aubeterre and St Aulaye and a day trip to the beach at Royen, on the Atlantic coast, is within 90 minutes drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Quoted rates are per week and do not include and maid/cleaning services during your stay. La Grange is purely a self catering holiday property containing full laundry facilities for your convenience. All fresh linen is supplied, including towels, and the beds are ready made up for your arrival.

    Reservations are for a 1 week minimum period, unless otherwise stated.
    30% deposit confirms a reservation. Balance due 6 weeks before arrival.
    Rental charge includes all outgoings (electricity, water, heating oil,)
    A 15% refundable deposit is required 2 weeks before your holiday to cover any breakages.
    Sorry, no pets.
  • Cancellation - If you have to cancel your holiday for any reason please notify us immediately by telephone and confirm the call in writing. If you cancel your booking after the deposit has been paid but before the balance is due, then only the deposit is forfeited. If you cancel within six (6) weeks of the beginning of your holiday then the total cost is payable. Cancellation insurance is advised.

    The client is responsible for leaving the property, all furniture and effects, clean and in good order and condition. The Security Deposit will be held by us against damage or loss and will be returned as appropriate.

    The client is responsible for the security of the property during the occupation period. The house is let on the understanding that the client is responsible for their own and their guest’s safety.
