Be very wary when you book to stay at this property - we paid our deposit - then on arrival, even though we had teething problems, garage door not opening, lighting and TV problems, we paid the full rental amount in cash We could only get quarter of our big deposit back as they claimed we scratched the wooden floor and damaged kitchen door - we did nothing of the sort, we are widely travelled, extremely careful and cautious people and are shocked at their claim. Despite getting the 'all clear' in writing from the lady who checked us out....the owners claim it's going to cost them around 1000 to repair floor -so they have taken most of our deposit. Be careful, you are warned

We understand your disappointment, however we have discussed this subject with you and we have charged you for damages which occurred during your stay based on quotations we have received from different kitchen and parqueting floor professionals. We are sorry that you are the first and only renter to complain about your visit.
Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that the damages we charged you for were not existent before your stay. In addition, you called the apartment manager many times at the beginning of your stay and never mentioned a problem with the garage door and the manager helped you solve the problem with the TV. As we have explained to you, the part of the security deposit we charged (it should be noted that we did not keep all the deposit) corresponds to the charges we now have for the repair work needed because of damages caused during your stay.
We offer a high quality and fully renovated apartment, and that also implies a counterpart from the renter, that's to say a minimum of care. As I have already mentioned, you are the first renter to complain, while others have already planned to come back next summer as their stay went perfectly.
Once again, we apologize for this issue and tried our best to find a compromise.
