House located in a very quiet area just minutes away (car drive) from local amenities, swimming pool, local market, shops and many excellent restaurants for eating out. Spacious kitchen, lounge with sofabed and TV,two bedrooms, bathroom with hydromassage shower. Sleeps max 3 adults or two adults and 2-3 kids.(Double bedroom,single bedroom and on sofa bed). Picinisco is ideally positioned midway between Rome and Naples making it an ideal base for taking day trips to these noble historical cities and also perhaps to Caserta and Montecassino. Picinisco is a very small center situated at 850 meters above sea level overlooks from above the whole Comino valley. It is an important winter resort, thanks to the fine skiing fields for both downhill, thanks to the modern facilities, and for cross-country skiers. For a time it was also a residence of English author D.H.Lawrence and the house where he lived and wrote 'The Lost Girl', which is set against the natural scenery of the area.

The beautiful coastline of the Ulysses Riviera iis considered to be one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Italy,is situated about 55 minutes drive from Picinisco, with its numerous golden sandy beaches, rocky coves, hidden caves and sheltered harbours, and the pretty seaside resorts of Sperlonga, Gaeta, is noted for its temperate climate, and rainless summers. The rocky cliffs are a haven for Free Climbers. For a time it was also a residence of English author D.H.Lawrence, and the house where he lived and wrote 'The Lost Girl'.This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a diversity of landscapes:Pretty medieval hill towns; verdant tranquil hillsides; olive groves; rivers, lakes; craggy peaks and protected nature reserves.

Hi....myself,my daughter and 2 friend's came here.. It was absolutely Gorgeous!! We all had a fantastic 2 weeks here & will certainly go back!!
The home itself has a lovely warm,cosy feel to it..The view's are absolutely outstanding...if only i could see that every day .. Also, the local's, all very helpfull & welcoming.. Picanisco is only 5 mins up the hill,and truly a gorgeous little town,with nice restaurant's and nice nightlife.You have the Beautiful Monestry Monte Cassino about 20 min drive from house. A must see.. A car is recommended for the hill's.. All worth it...

I was in this place many times because my friends have bought the house (many Scottish people)
here. The farmhouse is a really nice place to stay, not too far from the center (5 minutes by car) but not too isolated. The room for children and is a bit small but is the size of our single bedroom, the rest is nice and 'beautiful. The bathroom has a fantastic shower with hydromassage. the kitchen full equipped and all the landscape? wonderful! certainly will go back!
