Huge kitchen dining room fitted with gas cooker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, and full range of pots, pans, utensils etc., with patio doors leading to paved area with BBQ. Separate large comfortable lounge overlooking gardens, with open fireplace, beautiful exposed stone walls, TV & DVD player.

Le Petit Sorin nestles in a small valley, surrounded by vinyards, woods, streams and in summer sunflowers and sweetcorn. We are about an hour from some of the loveliest beaches on the Atlantic coast, from the surfing paradise at Lacanau Ocean, the golden beaches of St George & Royan, the lovely bay of St. Palais sur mer, up to La Palmyre and the rugged Cote Sauvage. The old town of Cognac is 25km north of us, and the fabulous and beautiful old town of Bordeaux is 80km to the south. The great wine regions of St Emilion, Pomerol, Margaux and other great Chateaux of the Medoc, are all within easy driving distance. We are in the heart of the Cognac and Pineau producing region, and free tastings can be arranged. We enjoy almost 2500 hours of sunshine a year, almost double that in the UK. Golf, tennis, sailing, and riding, are all available nearby, The wonderful Les Antilles de Jonzac water park, with indoor and outdoor lagoons, lakes and beaches is only a 10 minute drive away.
