Away from it all - except an excellent pub!

First impressions are of a very clean and up together holiday flat. The initial concern about the noise from being next to a pub came to nothing. People are v quiet and well behaved come closing time and we never noticed any noise from the pub or gardens while we were there.
The flat has everything that you need and more. I was amazed by the 'welcome pack' which included Organic Bread, Waitrose marmalade, eggs, butter, milk, tea etc etc etc!
France Lynch is east of Chalford and there are fields all the way east of the pub. The counrtyside is awash with footpaths and there are some keen mountain bikers around. Get a large scale OS map.
Mike and Pat are very welcoming, the pub does good food and beer.
Lovely!
The location may defeat your SatNav, so ask, or look at a map as there are some very narrow lanes around the village.
You'd think the flat was small, from the outside, but it has a very spacious feel inside, being light and bright, with two big comfy sofas and a spacious double bedroom. The other bedroom is quite small, but it works. The flat has lovely views and its own balcony and garden which are delightful. We loved it.
