Charming 18th century cottage in medieval village, castle at the doorsteps, country side view. Situated in one of the most beautiful villages in France. Traditional state of the art renovation (stones, wood) and contemporary design material (waxed concrete). Fully equipped open space American kitchen. Waxed concrete on the first floor(taupe colour) and in two bathrooms (one chocolate, one sand colour) hard wood floor in the bedrooms. Charming garden and terrace. Very quiet. One bathroom on first floor with beautiful traditional bathtub and view on countryside; Separate toilet. One bathroom and toilet on second floor with Italian shower. Electrical heating, fireplace and stove, washer, dryer, dishwasher, internet access, phone, stereo, satellite, panoramic plasma TV, DVD and BBQ. Also provided: Bed linens, Blankets, Pillows, Towels and Kitchen utensils. 2 adult bicycles, two children bicycles (5 to 9 years old), outdoor furniture.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The Security Deposit is given to the owner upon your arrival at the apartment. The security deposit is, of course, returned to you at the end of your stay, provided that there are no damages and the house is left in clean condition.
    Up to 1 month rental: the security deposit is equal to the rent.
    Between 1 month rental and 5 months rental: the security deposit is equal to 1 month rent.
    For 5 months rental and more : the security deposit is equal to 2 months rental.
  • 50% of the rent has to be sent in advance (to the owner).
    The balance of the rent will be paid upon your arrival as well the security deposit (to the owner or its representative).
    Reservation for long term rental (more than 40 nights) 50% of the first month has to be sent in advance (to the owner).
    The balance of the first month rent will be paid upon your arrival along with the security deposit (directly to the owner).
    The following month(s) rent will be paid directly to the owner.
    Payment by wire transfer for payment in advance. Cash for security deposit and balance.
    Cancellation policy
    50% of the amount if cancellation is announced less than 2 weeks prior to the date of the stay, 10% if it is announced prior to two weeks before the start of the stay
  • There will be an inventory upon arrival and upon departure with the owner or its representative.
    A copy of the client's multirisk insurrance needs to be sent to the owner in advance.
    An additional 60 euros will be charged to the client for 3 hours of maid service for one week rental; 20 euros for 1 hour of maid service for less than one week rental. Payment in cash upon arrival.

I stayed here with my partner for 10 days in August.
This is a nice little getaway for couples.
If you like sightseeing and the countryside I would recommend this cottage.

The property has everything you will need to enjoy your stay.

If you like to watch T.V I would suggest taking some DVD's with you along with a laptop as the property does have internet access. This is because you will only find the news and a few music channels in English. However this is not an issue if you are not bothered about the T.V

You will need a car to get around.
