Puerto Mogan is a delightful sunny resort located on the south west coast of Gran Canaria. It has a golden sandy beach and marina harbour. Amenities include many restaurants, bars and cafés both behind the beach and around the marina harbour. The capital city Las Palmas is about an hour's drive and has a beautiful old town including cathedral and a pedestrianised shopping area behind the famous Canteras beach. Amadores beach with its Caribbean sand and numerous restaurants and cafés is a twenty minute drive from Puerto Mogan.

Puerto Mogan is a tasteful resort enjoying a glorious year-round climate and is perfect for those seeking a peaceful sunny holiday. Nicknamed 'Little Venice', it has been carefully designed with a maximum of three levels to maintain its unique ambiance. Behind the marina harbour, where yachts from the world over are moored, is a charming network of walkways and canals overhung with colorful tropical flowers and plants. There is a wide choice of excellent cafes, restaurants and bars in Puerto Mogan, many of which overlook either the sandy beach or the harbour - also a good variety of shops and boutiques. Activities generally revolve around the water and apart from swimming and sunbathing include diving, fishing and yacht trips. The glass-bottomed ferry goes several times a day to Puerto Rico and Arguineguin. There are two major golf courses within easy reach of Puerto Mogan. There is also a good local bus service and taxis on hand at reasonable rates.
