3 bedroom ground floor apartment in historic house with direct front door access from enclosed courtyard which is locked in the evenings so accessed by key holders only, refurbished in 2007, Air condition - reversible in winter, car parking for set down for luggage , All mod cons, TV with DVD and wide selection of DVD, play station with X box and games in bunk bed room with separate TV, modern bathroom with shower and bath constant hot water available, garage with washing machine and dryer and drying area, storage for suitcases, variety of beach toys, deck chairs, scooters etc, outside seating/eating/smoking area for two , would suit family or couples, group of girls shopping w/end, would consider winter break for six weeks or similar. 3 min walk to sandy beaches, 3 min walk to Rue St. Antoine - gourmet restaurant street in heart of Cannes old town, 5 min to Old Port, 5 min uphill walk to the peak of the old town with wonderful views over Cannes & La Croissette, home from home .....

Rue Georges Clemenceau is at the foothill of Le Suquet, one row back from front row to Mediterranean Sea. Three min walk to Plage du Midi, clean sandy lifeguard attended public and private beaches. Full beach restaurant facilities. Three min walk to Rue St. Antoine, gourmet pedestrian restaurant experience. Five min uphill walk to the summit of the Old Town which captures a view of all of Cannes and the Isle des Lerins. Spectacular during fireworks night which start on 14th July and continue every 8 nights during the summer. Also hosting Musicals at the Suquet, tickets to be bought at the Tourist Office at the Palais de Festivals.

Notes: There is an outside seating area suitable for smoking. 3 bedroom spacious apartment offers the perfect setting to explore Cannes, Ground floor apartment with direct access to enclosed courtyard which is locked in the evening so key access only. The shared garden area is tended to by Guido, a professor from Italy, who attends twice daily to keep the flowers, orange tree, wisteria watered. I have a contact with a local car hire, if you decide to tour for a day or two as required. A trip to Italy for spaghetti for lunch, stop in Monaco on the way back to see how the other half live or maybe a trip to the Alps, two hours and you are at the stunning Peaks of Isola 2000, take Route St Isadore from Nice from Cannes. Take a cruise to St Tropez or maybe Ile des Lerins which are across the Bay of Cannes, home to the Man in the Iron Mask, with prison museum, also great snorkelling and water sports. Bus stop at Hotel de Ville is at the end of Rue Georges Clemenceau for Airport

winter ski: Use Cannes as your base and travel to the Alps for a couple of days ski Stay in a hotel or self catering at the Alps for a night or two or travel up and down each day (max two hour trip each way) snow permitting! winter sun and ski - one flight away we usually do a trip to the Alps in Jan/Feb with four children and it works well with the combination of ski and sun

surf school, sailing and water sports: At Palm Beach (open top bus route) bus stop at Old Port five minutes walk from apartment Variety of water sports classes for children of all ages and adults too or summer camps for half day or full day water sport camps Wind Surfing, sailing, water-ski, English speaking contact at Water Sports Centre at Palm Beach to reserve a place for classes or week long packages to keep the children happy Lifeguard on private beach 3 minutes from apartment gives private swimming lessons to adults and children in the sea, also aqua gym classes a couple of times a week in the sea, the lifeguard gives classes in the mornings when the sea is like a mirror, it is so calm... monday mornings to look forward to!

golf: There are several excellent golf courses nearby. This 3 bedroom spacious apartment offers the perfect setting to explore the surrounding area. The adjacent garage offers ideal storage area for golf clubs and bags.

I recently spent a week in Cannes in this property and it was exactly as the description stated. The apartment was immaculate and well proportioned for our family of 2 adults and 4 children. It has a glorious terraced area where you can sit and read in the beautiful evenings. It is 3 mins from the most wonderful beach, it was safe for the children with a full time lifeguard, it was clean and was up to my standards which I must say are hard to meet. At the private beach you may order lunch which will be served to you at your sunbed, absolute heaven.
Cannes is a beautiful town with old world charm mixed with the new cosmopolitan, the choice of eateries are vast and will require another visit!!!!!, I am planning my next trip and counting the days. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property my family had a wonderful holiday even the moody teeanagers raved about it and have said they will come agian!!!!
