Arquà Petraca and the famous Poet:
Ca' Orologio is located in the medieval village of Arquà Petrarca, which takes its name from the great poet Francesco Petrarca, who felts in love with mild climate and windy that recalled his beloved Provence. Here he has lived the last years of his life, and now in the square of the Church, the Tomb keep the revered relics.
The house of the poet, who can still be visited, is kept intact. Arquà Petrarca is the 'Pearl of the Euganean Hills, between Palladian villas and walled city, is beautiful for its medieval architecture and is famous for its greenery and the cool summer climate and its ventilated Hills.The Euganean Hills were in the past, the summer residence of the noble Venetian, and, until the nineteenth and twentieth century, the homes of Paduan Families.
Today is the first choice for Sunday picnics in the nearby city and the outputs of cyclists and runners.

A one hour drive are Venice and Lake Garda, Chioggia and the Delta del Po, Asiago, Ravenna, Ferrara, Mantova and Bologna. Vicenza, Verona, Bassano del Grappa and Treviso worth a visit.
