Additional information about rental rates

  • We will hold a booking for 5 days pending receipt of a booking form together with a 20% deposit of the total rental price. Once this is received you will be sent confirmation of your booking & a receipt. The balance is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the agreed rental period. If after you have confirmed your booking you decide to alter your arrival/departure date we will do our utmost to make the requested changes. A refundable breakages/cleaning deposit of £150 is required on payment of the final balance (receipt provided), this will be returned within 14 days of your return home providing everything is satisfactory & there hasn't been any damages/breakages. If excessive cleaning of the apartment has had to be undertaken due to it been left in an unreasonable state then appropriate cleaning charges will be deducted from the refundable deposit.

  • Casa del Naranjal is easily accessible from both Murcia (San Javier) & Alicante airports. Directions and key collection details will be provided upon receipt of the full rental balance. We can assist with travel arrangements for airport collection and departure.
  • You can occupy the apartment from 3pm on the day of your arrival. You will find basic provisions such as milk, bread and butter in the fridge upon your arrival and there is always plenty of tea and coffee. Should you require further items, due to a late arrival time possibly - this can be easily arranged at an extra cost.

    The apartment must be vacated by 10.00am on the last day of your stay and be left in a reasonably clean state.

  • All 3 bathrooms are immaculate, fully tiled and furnished in a modern style with well lit mirrors over the large vanity units which offer plenty of storage space. The master bedroom’s en-suite has a large shower cubicle, bidet, toilet and basin. The family bathroom has a bath with over head shower with screen, bidet, toilet and basin. The 2nd floor en-suite has a shower cubicle, toilet and basin. Clean bath and hand towels are provided for you and replenished for guests staying longer than one week. An initial supply of toilet paper is provided.

  • On the 1st floor there are 3 beautifully presented bedrooms. The master en-suite bedroom is bright and airy and has a king-size wrought iron bed and a large fitted, mirrored wardrobe providing plenty of storage space. The 2 twin bedded rooms on the 1st floor also have fitted, mirrored wardrobes and a solid pine chest of drawers in each. The 2nd floor twin en-suite bedroom has a free standing wardrobe and chest of drawers. This bedroom is a perfect retreat and is equipped with a kettle and small fridge. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and for cooler nights free standing radiators are available. There is plenty of additional bedding in the form of throws and blankets should you need them. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. All beds are freshly made for you before arrival and replacement clean linen and towels are available for guests who are staying for longer than 1 week.

Notes: The apartment is managed by our British friends who live in the neighbouring property. They are the keyholders & upon your arrival they will welcome you to the apartment. They are a lovely, friendly & approachable couple, who will make sure you have everything you need, answer any questions & endeavour in making sure you have a wonderful stay. We've collated an extensive information folder about the village & local area providing guests with bar/restaurant/shop locations, maps & details of local attraction etc. There is both hot & cold air conditioning in the living/dining & kitchen areas, although a refreshing breeze can be created by opening the front & back patio doors & for cooler months there's freestanding radiators & heaters. There is an easy to use secure safe. A water purifying filter for drinking water has recently been fitted. The overall floor area of the property inside & out is 200sq m. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PROPERTY IS ACCESSED BY 3 SHORT FLIGHTS OF STAIRS

Explore the local area: This wonderful region is known as 'The Market Garden of Spain' because of the lush, fertile soil many fruits and vegetables are grown here and orchards, orange, lemon and olive groves sprawl across the landscape. The area benefits from at least 300 days of wonderful sunshine each year & offers endless kilometres of sun drenched beaches, mountains, natural parks and lakes, historical towns, bustling market, pavement bars, clubs and restaurants. As well as great golfing facilities there are endless activities to enjoy in the area including cycling, hiking, diving, sailing, fishing, bird watching, quad biking, go karting etc. Attractions include water parks, a safari park, museums and much more. There are wonderful historic towns and villages to explore with their regular fiestas and processions, bars, restaurants, markets and shops etc. Although Casa del Naranjal is situated away from the main tourist hot spots they are easily accessible. Experience traditional & friendly village life: Imagine taking a short morning stroll to the local bakery and then eating the freshly baked bread with a leisurely breakfast on the pretty, wrought iron railed front balcony whilst enjoying the warming sunshine. For sunshine throughout the day head up to the large rooftop solarium, which is furnished with sun loungers and a large patio dining suite. Spend a lazy day relaxing before cooking up a traditional treat on the Spanish style bbq whilst enjoying the views. A 2 minute walk takes guests to the residents' pool which is great for cooling off in. If you'd rather relaxed around the pool you will need to take a lounger with you, remembering to bring it back to the apartment on your return. There is a large, warm community swimming pool a 5 minute walk away which is open from about mid June until early September. It is free to all who live and holiday in the village and is manned by lifeguards. Although there are shaded park benches there you may need to take patio chairs with you.

Facilities: In the living area there is a TV with british channels, a DVD player + a selection of DVD's, PlayStation2 console + games, a CD player + selection of discs & a radio. The 2nd floor bedroom can be reached via the spiral staircase or by using the external stairs. This separate twin bedded, en suite room is ideal for anybody needing their own space & has a kettle & small fridge. Milk, bread, butter, tea & coffee are provided for your arrival. We can assist with organising airport collection/return. Although there is a public transport network car rental is recommended in order to fully appreciate this beautiful area, alternatively we can recommend reputable taxi firms. There is a butchers, bakers & grocers in the village that provide most food provisions & alcohol, a number of smaller shops selling gifts, clothing, toiletries, etc, & a tobacconists. In neighbouring Formentera, a 5 min drive away (20 min walk) you'll find a supermarket, 24 hr cash machine, & shops, bars & restaurants.

Golf: Casa del Naranjal always welcomes golfing parties. With at least seven 18 hole championship golf courses within a 20 minute drive the apartment is the perfect base for those wishing to get out on the fairways and play a few rounds of their favourite sport in the most spectacular surroundings. One of the closest is La Finca golf club which lies in natural surroundings of great beauty and with fantastic views. Its facilities are open to those people who want to play golf in the heart of nature. La Finca golf course is situated at the foot of Mount Escotera, in the municipality of Algorfa, right in the heart of the Segura region. The perfect large apartment .

This large apartment is situated in a traditional idilic spanish village. Allows people the quiet local village to form a base and the busier city's of alicante and Torrevieja. We loved the local bars and found the locals ( young and old ) very friendly . We also ventured to the coast regular as we rented a car , which i would recommend to enable you to see the surounding area . The beaches were clean , busy but not overcrowded , we went fishing on a boat which was good ( Barter the captain ) The apartment itself was very spacious and immaculately clean , with everything you could wish for inside . The roof top terrace was a great place to catch the rays and was private too. The apartment was just like the description only better in real life . John and Alison were easy to deal with and made our stay very easy , They also gave us plenty of info prior to our stay. We had a very relaxing stay here and hope to return after we have visited a few other destinations on our list . I would recommend this one to anyone without hesitation . Thankyou J & A

Beautiful Apartment

Had a fabulous week in this beautiful apartment with great weather every day. Lots to do in the area. Great pastries and icecreams at La Plaza, Benijofar, which you can walk to along the river bank. Very typical spanish village with delicious spanish food. Had a Paella at Saez bar - you need to pre-order 24 hours in advance but really worth the wait. Went to the Fonts de Algar which were very picturesque and refreshing, Villagers were very friendly and we will certainly be coming back.

Excellent apartment

Very relaxing holiday in this excellent apartment. Facilities in village are very good - had good value meals in the bars. The local villagers, both Spanish and English, were really friendly - gave us a taste of spanish New Year celebrations. They definately know how to party.

What a lovely apartment and so well equipped with everything you need. Peaceful, relaxing holiday. Local villagers are very friendly and gave us a taste of the 'real' Spain. Can't wait to come back next year.
