Set above a mountain stream, our farmhouse, built in 1747, is equipped with all of the necessary elements for the perfect vacation. Its quiet location and comfort will charm you and the natural beauty of the surroundings will afford you many opportunities for discovery. The house possesses a live-in kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, living room with satellite TV, stereo and library. With three bedrooms, there is space to sleep six comfortably. The bathroom has separate shower and bathtub and the toilet facilities are separate as well. You can enjoy your meals on the two terraces and let your children roam about the 2000 square meter yard which has been enclosed for their safety. You will find the house cool and airy in summer; in winter, the wood stoves and electric radiators make the coldest afternoons cosy and cheery. You will be impressed at the many and varied possibilities to discover nature and culture in this lovely and unspoiled region.

Unspoiled and tranquil, the Haute Saone offers holiday pleasure for the most discerning of vacationers. Whether you choose hiking or water sports, museums or shopping, spas or golf, you are certain to find whatever suits your preference. Plancher Bas is situated just between the vineyards and historical centres of Alsace in the east and Burgundy in the south; daytrips to Strasbourg or Dijon are sure to be highlights of your visit. Nearby, you will marvel at the Chapelle de Notre Dame by Le Corbusier and, at France`s oldest glassworks in La Rochere, you may just find the perfect souvenir. For families, the lake Malsaucy (10 min.) offers bathing facilities as well as minigolf and table tennis; sailing, canoeing, and windsurfing are among activities offered there as well. The lovely golf course at Rougemont (20 min.) offers spectacular views of the Swiss Alps, or for the more adventurous, the Aviation Club in Sermamagny offers flying lessons. Additional information about rental rates

  • The rental price includes linen and towels, cleaning fee. We ask for a security deposit of € 250 per rental. The above rates are based upon an occupancy of four guests. For a fifth and sixth guest we ask for a surcharge of €5 per guest and night. From November 1, 2007 until April 1, 2008 we charge € 7 per night heating fee.
  • We generally rent on a weekly basis from Saturday 5 p.m. until Saturday 10 a.m. For extra days (by agreement only) we charge € 90 for four persons. For the fifth and sixth persons see the above paragraph.

  • The ground floor bedroom has a large double bed and direct garden access and is suitable for guests who cannot climb stairs easily. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with two twin beds; if you like to sleep with open windows, the stream’s melody will lull you to sleep. A sleeping corner at the back of the house has a full view of the garden and offers a place for those who enjoy a romantic atmosphere. Our beds are equipped with good quality mattresses and pillows. The bedding consists of feather beds/duvets.

Notes: This is our own and dearly loved weekend house, set up for our personal comfort and pleasure. We offer you quality in everyday life, with all the little extras that make leisure time a pleasure. For summer there is a grill for your barbecues; if you come in winter you will find the wood box well stocked. Since it is a country house there may be a tractor passing by when it is the season to make hay. You can also enjoy honey from our own hives; it is a delightful place and we hope that you will appreciate its special atmosphere.

This charming well equiped cottage is tucked away on the edge of a village at the foot of the Vosges. It was a ten minute walk each morning to the village to buy your baguette for breakfast. The kitchen contained everything you might need. Bedrooms, Lounge & dining room had comfortable furniture. The owners attention to detail made our holiday a very enjoyable one.

There is lots of local wildife. We sat in the garden watching buzzards fly around above us. Nearby is an area known as Le Plateau of the 'thousand lakes'. Some lakes you can swim /fish /canoe. Apart from the local mountains & lakes there is plenty of places to visit. The local wine, & cheese are delicious.

It is ideal place to stay for a good relaxing holiday.

Wir haben uns im "Petit Paradis" sehr wohl gefühlt: eine schöne, ruhige Lage in der Natur, eine gemütliche, bequeme und liebevolle Einrichtung, eine komplette Küche inkl. Zubehör und ein Begrüßungspaket mit frisch gebackenem Brot. Hervorzuheben auch die Betten mit sehr guten Matratzen und schönem Blick in den Garten. Plancher Bas ist ein guter Standort um die unterschiedlichen Gegenden in der wunderschönen Umgebung zu erkunden. Ein gelunger Urlaub! Dank an die Hausbesitzer!

Wohlfühl Urlaub Plancher-Bas

Nach einem sehr sympatischen vorausgegangen Emailkontakt, wurden wir von dem Ferienhaus vor Ort nicht enttäuscht. Die Bilder hatten nicht zuviel versprochen und dank der kompletten, liebevollen Einrichtung des Hauses, konnten wir direkt "loswohnen" und Urlaub machen.
Das urige, romantische und regionaltypische Haus bietet neben allen erdenklichen Ausstattungen und riesigem Garten, eine ideale Basis die wunderschöne Landschaft zu erkunden.
Der in der Ausschreibung angesprochene Lac de Malsaucy bietet eine liebevoll angelegte Freizeitanlage für jung und alt. Sandstrand, Liegewiesen mit schattenspendenden Bäumen, Badeaufsicht und div. Spiel- und Spassmöglichkeiten.
Wie so vieles in dieser Region ist diese Anlage liebevoll in die Landschaft intergriert.
Wir sind mit unserer Reisegruppe/Familie (42, 29, 61 und 15 Jahren) alle auf unsere Kosten gekommen.

Fazit: Superschönes Haus, perfekte Ausstattung, professionelle Vermieter.

So soll Urlaub sein!
Schon im Vorfeld haben wir Informationen über die Gegend erhalten und unsere Fragen wurden sofort beantwortet.
Bei der Ankunft in diesem tollen Haus waren schon Lebensmittel für das erste Vesper eingekauft und der Urlaub musste nicht mit Einkaufsstress beginnen. Wir konnten wirklich gleich "loswohnen".
Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und schön und ist mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es mangelt an nichts und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause.
Das See von Malsaucy mit seinem schönen Sandstrand und Wiesen ist für Familien mit (kleinen und großen) Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. In der Nähe gibt es sehr viele Wanderungen und Spaziergänge, bei denen man die Natur genießen kann.
Wir fanden es toll und werden sicher wiederkommen!!!
