Situated in a quiet location in the attractive market town of Fishguard, Brodog Court is a luxury townhouse in a small mews-type development. Grouped around a communal courtyard with a fountain and individually allocated parking, it has been architect designed using reclaimed bricks and Victorian-style elements but incorporating every modern convenience. Featuring a contemporary yet welcoming living area on the first floor, and panoramic views from the top floor, Brodog Court offers flexible holiday accommodation for couples, families and friends. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, ideal for couples, older children or grandparents. The bright and airy living space on the first floor consists of living and eating areas, plus a well-equipped kitchen with French windows opening onto a decorative balcony. On the top floor is a spacious master bedroom with a high pitched ceiling, a family bathroom and a children's room with bunk beds and travel cot available.

Brodog Court is ideally located for exploring the beautiful coastline and beaches of Pembrokeshire. The Coastal Path, stretching in both directions from Fishguard, is ideal for walkers, while beautiful beaches such as Newport Sands, Poppit Sands, Whitesands, Newgale and Broad Haven are short drives away. A leisurely stroll will take you to a small beach at Goodwick in one direction or, in the other, the picturesque fishing village of Fishguard Lower Town. Fishguard itself has several amenities including the library and tourist information centre, a leisure centre, food shops, galleries and craft shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The historic city of St. David's and its cathedral are well worth a visit, as is Tenby, with its attractive harbour and beaches, and Pembroke, with its medieval castle. There are boat trips available to Ramsay Island, Caldey and Skomer and plenty of other local attractions for families such as Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and Blue Lagoon Water Park.

  • We ask for a 20% deposit on bookings made more than six weeks in advance. The remainder of the payment should be made no later than six weeks before the start of your holiday.

    During mid and low seasons requests for short breaks are welcome. The cost of a short break is calculated at the price of a full week less 5% for each night not booked. We offer a 15% discount for two person occupancy on full weeks booked during mid and low seasons.

    Our usual change-over day is Saturday. Over the Christmas and New Year period this is flexible and other days may also be possible during low and mid seasons. Please contact us to discuss your preferences.

Notes: Brodog Court is fully centrally heated with individual thermostats on each radiator. Both bathrooms are equipped with underfloor heating. The modern boiler ensures that hot water is available on demand whenever required. There is an allocated parking space in the courtyard outside the house. Bikes, surfboards and other large items can be stored in the communal storage room for which a key is provided.

Fantastic Stay !

We stayed at Brodog for three nights at the end of May 09.
As soon as we entered the property we felt at home as much time and effort had been made by the owners to make this a very comfortable place to stay with all mod cons and everything that you would possibly need.
There were plenty of leaflets etc and past visitors comments on where to eat, which were the best beaches to visit and places to go with children and all these were very accurate. Fishguard had a choice of places to eat and a great convenience store 2 minutes walk away for all the necessities also a Tesco Metro 5 mins drive away.
We went to Tenby for the day and this was a great day out with a fantastic beach and lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Overall we found this to be a fantastic property in a great location and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, couples and families.

My holiday at Brodog Court

My wife Susie and I have recently returned from a wonderful, relaxing break here. We had chosen this property to meet up with old friends, and it couldn't have been better. Beautifully appointed and maintained, convenient for Fishguard town (try the Fishguard Arms - a proper pub for real ale fans!), and walks along the picturesque coastline.
Communication with the owners was straightforward, and they were most helpful. Highly recommended - we'll be back!

An Ideal Place for Any Holidaymaker

Fishguard is an idyllic little town on the cliffs of south-west Wales. There are many beaches around, as well as pretty fishing ports and coastal paths. The town itself provides many amenities, including several pubs, tea rooms and supermarkets. If you enjoy outdoor pursuits, there is a diving school here, it is a great place to plan cycle routes around and footpaths are not in short supply. There are major traffic routes nearby, making it easy to get, though they are sufficiently far away from the town so as not to spoil the beauty of the area. All in all, Fishguard is a brilliant place to come and spend a holiday no matter what your idea of a holiday is.

And where better to stay in this lovely town than Brodog Court? This spacious, three-storey holiday cottage is in an ideal location to enhance the relaxing experience of holiday making. There are three bedrooms, one with en suite on the ground floor and the other two sharing a bathroom on the top floor. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are all a good size. The top floor bathroom offers beautiful views across Fishguard to Dinas Head and the surrounding mountains, which was a great vista to wake up to.

On the first floor is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which is fully equipped with basic, and more exotic, cooking utensils. A good selection of games and DVDs is provided lest the weather should let you down. On the other hand, Brodog Court offers space for storing bicycles and plenty of car parking space straight outside the building.

Once you enter the secluded courtyard, you forget the supermarket and high street that you pass on the way in and easily relax in the peaceful haven of Brodog Court.

Whilst the cottage is self catering and has very good facilities for cooking, if you want to go out, Fishguard has many cafes, pubs and restaurants to eat at. For coffees, teas and an amazing selection of cakes I would advise the art gallery cum tea room which is on the main road next to HSBC. For good food, Number 14 on West Street was a lovely place to go. The Royal Oak on Market Square is an 18th century pub which serves good home made food and real ales. The folk night on Tuesdays is fun for everyone.

So, if you want a holiday that offers a relaxing atmosphere, the opportunity to get out and about on the cliff tops, many beaches from which to swim and have fun and a great place to come back to every evening, I would urge you to consider Brodog Court in Fishguard.

Unfortunately, since they visited, the Royal Oak has changed hands and we have been a bit disappointed by the food. It's still a lovely pub to have a drink in - with wonderful views of Fishguard Bay from the outside terrace at the back - and the folk nights are still going strong!
