Flor do vale comprises ten south-facing apartments. The grounds of the complex are enclosed by high hedges and a fence whilst the green lawns which border the poolside terrace are scattered with shady palm trees and a sun-soaked paved terrace surrounds the sparkling 17x 6 sized pool advisable for guests over 16 years old. Each apartment is decorated in a traditional style and simple furnishings. Upper floor apartments have a balcony overlooking pool and gardens. The bedrooms have twin beds open onto to a balcony or veranda. The two bedroom apartment is on the ground floor facing the pool.

Flor do vale is situated six kilometres or so from Albufeira, vale de parra is a delightfully relaxing blend of low hills and fertile plains , with residential homes and whitewashed villas dotted across the valley to the sea. Flor do vale is located in a tranquil heart of the valley, there are several supermarkets and good selection of local and international restaurants between vale de parra , São Rafael and the magnificent long white sandy beach - galé and the salgados (reserves for birds watching and golf course). Algarve shopping, zoo marine (water park and animal attractions), guia typical village chicken piri-piri restaurants all these in 5 kms drive distance

Lovely, fairly secluded apartments

The complex is beautifully finished and very comfortable. Fernando (the complex manager) was very helpful and accomodating on arrival, throughout the stay and when leaving.

The complex is not in a main part of a resort and so is fairly isolated, a car I would say is essential for getting to the beach, into albufeira and surrounding areas. There are some lovely restaurants, pubs and grocery stores within an easy walking distance though.

It is currently a very quiet complex with no children and largely older people staying!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Romantic Getaway

Paradise in Portugal

This is a lovely place to stay. It is a little off the beaten track (and a car is almost essential but not quite)..but once there it is peaceful, quiet,clean and very close to some good restaurants and supermarkets. No children was the icing on the cake for us!
We will definitely be going back.
