Gracious, supremely comfortable country house with private pool for family holidays in Spring, Summer, and Fall; inviting ski Chalet, with 5 fireplaces and a piano for Winter gatherings, a half-hour from extensive ski slopes. You will be truly privileged in this beautifully cared for and fully equipped five bedroom, 5 bathroom home, with numerous,spacious, comfortable seating areas in which to gather or to retreat, and with all modern conveniences like wireless Internet and an automatic espresso-machine. Outside, there is a large pool with whirlpool incorporated,set in a verdant garden. The pool looks across the green valley to such special hill-top towns as Bellagra. There are plenty of pool chairs and lounge chairs for all the household and large umbrellas for a some shade. In summer you will want to take your meals outside on the umbrella-lined terrace that opens from the inside dining room.There is an out-door kitchen with brick barbecue and oven for grilling and pizza!

Subiaco is an ancient and art-rich historic village in the hills 1 hour from Rome and 25 km. from famous Tivoii. Subiaco, thanks to St. Benedict and his sister, Scolastica, hermits in the 5th Century, is home to two famous Benedictine Abbeys, and 12 Monasteries. The exceptional Medieval town developed in their honor. Be awed by the Medieval complex of Santa Scolastica which includes three monasteries, a church, a hostel for pilgrims and a library which contains copies of the first books printed in Italy in 1465. The castle, called Rocca Abbaziale,residence of the cardinals was modified into a stately mansion, but from the outside retains its medieval fortified appearance.In this exceptional Medieval city, enjoy Italian life in numerous trattorias, restaurants, cafes, the weekly market, and regular festivals. You are a short drive to beautiful Tivoli with its Villa D'Este, and Villa Adriano.You can drive or train to Rome, and of course, in winter, excellent skiing is nearby.

  • No meals are included. Security deposit of Euro 300 required. 120 Euros End Clean charge includes cost of linens. 50% deposit payable upon reservation. Balance due before 60 days prior to arrival. If booking is made within a 60 days of the arrival date, 100% of the rental due is required to secure the booking.
  • The cancellation of a confirmed booking entails the forfeiting of all payments made. However, every effort will be made to find a replacement tenant, in which case the Client will be reimbursed pro-rata, minus a 25% service charge. If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.Special arrangements made for last minute bookings.

Location, location: Not only has this Villa been beautifully and tastefully decorated, but it's setting in a magnificent National park, with extraordinary views, makes it a perfect, private retreat for family or friends. It is wonderful for hiking all year round.There is horse-riding and tennis available just a few kilometres away. Skiing is a half hour away, and cross-country skiing is available from your doorstep in winter. There is also the nearby famous Spa town of Fiuggi,which Romans and others have enjoyed for thousands of years. Add to that all that Tivoli and Rome offer, and you will want to stay much longer.

Ski: In Winter, you can tour Rome one day and enjoy alpine skiing i the next day. Only 15 kilometers from your door is the Roman ski Resort of Monte Livata situated on the Simbruini mountains. There are 4 lifts covering different areas and serving runs from between 1340m and 1855m in Altitude. You will find different levels and 19 kilometers. Ski runs: 6 blue, 5 red, 2 black Nordic skiing: cross-country tracks of 5, 8, 10 and 15 Km covering 39 kilometers. There is also a Snow park in the sport complex called Fossa dell'Acero. Slightly further away, you will find another charming resort with interesting skiing called Pescasseroli with 16 runs over 20 kilometers and a Medieval setting
