Subiaco is an ancient and art-rich historic village in the hills 1 hour from Rome and 25 km. from famous Tivoii. Subiaco, thanks to St. Benedict and his sister, Scolastica, hermits in the 5th Century, is home to two famous Benedictine Abbeys, and 12 Monasteries.
