The chalet is situated in the hamlet of Mayens de Bruson,at approximately 1300m altitude and 10 minutes drive from the village of Le Châble in the valley below Verbier. The main living area is situated on the first floor and comprises a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room, with access onto the balcony at the front of the property. In addition to the heating system, a wood-burner provides efficient heating in the winter months. Downstairs, the ground floor houses three bedrooms (two double and one triple), two WCs, and one shower room. Outside, there is a brick-built, wood-burning barbecue.

The hamlet of Mayens de Bruson lies just across the valley from the world-famous ski resort of Verbier in Switzerland's Val de Bagnes. Accessible in under two hours from Geneva airport, either by train or car, Bruson is an ideal base for exploring the local areas, including St. Bernard, Aosta (Italy), Chamonix (France), Verbier, and any of the towns bordering Lake Geneva, such as Montreux, Vevey and Evian. The region is also famous for its thermal spas, Les Bains de Lavey and Les Bains de Saillon are both situated within 45 minutes drive of the chalet. Bruson would be the ideal location for a rest-stop at any time of year for anyone taking the famous 'Haute-Route' from Zermatt to Chamonix. In winter, the resort of Bruson forms part of the extensive 'Four Valleys' network, which also includes the resorts of Verbier, Nendaz, La Tzoumaz and Thyon.
