The view is west to the sea and the Greek islands. From the entrance/reception area you can enter the 2 bdrm main part of the house or the 2 bdrm guest house. The main house has a large living room, kitchen/dining, larder, library/TV room, games room and laundry on the lower level, master bedroom, large terrace and large bathroom with terrace, 2nd bedroom with en suite on the upper level. The guest area has a 2 storey high sitting area with kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lower bathroom opens onto a Bali style courtyard with outdoor shower. There are numerous places to sit and relax depending on the sun and time of day. Covered dining area from kitchen. Sunbeds by the 16m long infinity pool that drops off to the valley and the panoramic view. Meals can be prepared on request.

The view from the villa is of a deserted village in the valley, the marina beyond and out to the Greek islands. There are many walking trails in the area. The village of Yalikavak offers shops and a large selection of restaurants along the waters edge. There is a good selection of shops and cafes at the international marina. Sailboats and windsurf can be rented. 10 - 20 minutes takes you to neighbouring villages and 25 minutes to the lively town of Bodrum. After a night out in Bodrum you can escape back to the peace and quiet of this villa. Ephesus is a 2 hour drive and the ancient Mausoleum of Halikarnas and Castle of St Peter are both close by in Bodrum.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a lovely, warm & welcoming home. The views are fantastic and we seemed move from one cozy corner to an even more inviting spot. Choosing the spot for cocktails at sunset seemed to be the most difficult choice of the day.

Despite record heat levels, it was nice and cool up here. We will definitely be back!
