Overlooking some of the best point breaks in the world, Pirate's Mirage offers quality holiday accommodation in exotic Morocco. Just 12km north of Agadir, the surf village of Tamraght (just next to Taghazout) provides quick access to famous surf spots like Boilers, Killer Point, Mysteries, Anchor Point, Panoramas, Devil's Rock, Banana Point, and 11's/12's. The villa is architecturally interesting with its fusion of traditional Moroccan kasbah and nautical influences.

The four well appointed bedrooms provide sufficient accommodation up to 10 persons and the Moroccan salon provides over-flow capacity to 12 guests. Super convenient, the villa has a large well equipped eat-in kitchen, large salon with flat screen TV, DVD and Hi-Fi stereo and hi-speed WiFi. The large terrace offers expansive views of the coast and mountains. Surfing lessons, board rental, and excursions are available. The perfect surf & holiday retreat!

It is a delightful course, but you must beware of the trees and the very dense undergrowth. The greens are broad, well defended b deep bunkers and groups of palm trees that close of the angles. The number three hole is particularly challenging, its splendid 469 meters and par 5 requiring particular skill on the second shot, to overcome the impressive water hazard. After the game, players can meet and discuss their round in the panoramic club house, practically buried in a cascade of Bougainvillea area. Golf Les Dunes. Golf Club Med les Dunes is set on gently rolling land among eucalyptus trees. A 27 hole course situated on the outskirts of Agadir. It is a glorious site with the best architecture

Amazing Villa and Holiday!

I traveled to the villa in November with my friend for a vacation and to learn how to surf. The villa exceeded my expectations; it was clean, comfortable, and provided everything you need for a worry free time.
It also had some of the most amazing views.

Dale and Clint arranged everything and made it a perfect holiday. I had never been to Morocco or surfed and I loved both. Tamraght and Taghazout provide a relaxing atmosphere, and a short taxi or car ride away Agadir provides a more vibrant night life, so it is easy to have the best of both.

I would stay again in a second, and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn to surf, and or just explore a beautiful country.

Surf in Tamraght/Taghazout - awesome!

The villa is beautiful and everything is there to make you feel at home, yet with the Moroccan colourful style that makes you feel on holiday (and warm)! The bedrooms/bed are very nice and clean with big wardrobes, and the bathrooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. The living room with the balcony is just superb. My favourite part of the villa might be the roof only because coming from London where we don't have such views, watching the sunrise/sunset up there was the most relaxing feeling I felt in a long time.

Mustafa was there to look after the villa (and us). One night he cooked us a tajine and it was just to die for (+ veggie option available if you just tell him)! The kitchen in the villa is great and it was just very nice to meet everyone there at breakfast.

Otherwise plenty of shops in the village to buy food from... Plenty to do around the village and plenty of waves to choose from. Surfing there is just amazing and the locals make you feel welcome. Anyway the best holiday I had in a very long time. I'll be back! Have fun.

funky and bizarre surfing accomodation

How would you like to stay in a funky and yet bizarre house overlooking the ocean within a few minutes drive of some of the best surf breaks in Morocco - Anchor Point, Killers, Devil Island, Bananas etc...??

The house is big. A rooftop terrace with its own toilet at the top of the building with a wide view of the coastline, then three floors of accomodation, kitchen, and a large lounge with balcony and all the mod cons - DVD, flat screen TV, wifi, and a winding staircase up through the building that was designed to look like a ship.

The house is located on the side of a hill between Tagazut and Agadir and, although it is possible to walk to the nearest surf beach with your board (took me 20 minutes) I recommend having a vehicle here so that you have many more options for surfing, sightseeing and eating/ partying.

It's a great place :-)

November Surf Holiday

I traveled to the Tamraght villa in November 2010 with a friend. Neither one of us had ever surfed before, but had heard great things about this area of Morocco and decided to make the trip.
Overall, the experience was exceptional.
Accommodations: our room (bunk beds with ensuite bath) was perfect. Plenty of storage in the double cupboard. Convenience of ensuite bath can't be beat. Comfortable beds and plenty of bedding. Common spaces were great for socializing and relaxing.
Food/dining: our group took advantage of local restaurants as well as Si Mustapha's excellent cooking. Guests can give him money to shop for food, and then you can cook for yourselves or ask him to do it. The tajines are to die for. Taghazout has plenty of good dining options... we hit up Le Spot at least once a day. Agadir's restaurant and nightlife scene are also just a short trip away.
Surfing: Clint hooked us up with lessons, boards and wet suits - all at a very reasonable price. We also rented boards and wet suits for the remainder of the week. Each day entailed morning and afternoon surfing and beach time. Clint drove us around all week in search of the best waves. On a relatively flat day, we also took a side trip to Paradise Valley for a hike and dip in the mountain waters.

Overall, I would highly recommend the villa to individuals, couples and families/large groups. It's a great, laid back environment with activities for all backgrounds and energy levels! Thanks to our great hosts for a fun and memorable holiday!

Super Surf in Morocco

I stayed at this place a few weeks back and had a brilliant trip. The villa is conveniently located close to Taghazout and only a few minutes away from a beach with good surf for beginners/intermediates. Dale was extremely hospitable and arranged transport for the group every day to different beaches depending on surf conditions.

The property itself is very spacious and well decorated, with a great lounge/kitchen and balcony for socialising. I personally found the wireless internet a lifesaver to stay on top of work emails in the evenings. The beds were comfy and rooms always clean which was really appreciated after a hard day's surfing!

All in all, i had a great time and already planning to go back! Highly recommended!!
