General Area Description:
Although Tampa Airport is the nearest International Airport to the property, other airports are also within an easy drive to the property and these include Sarasota / Bradenton (15 minutes), Orlando (2 hours), and Orlando Sanford (2 hours). If you want to visit the Orlando attractions (eg. Disney, Universal, Sea World etc.) these can be reached by car within 90 minutes Busch Gardens can be reached by car within 50 minutes. This area of the Gulf Coast is a stylish, upscale, art conscious, clean, and beautiful place to vacation to. A very good place to experience all that Florida has to offer. A premier outlet mall is just one stop up the freeway (there are over 250 shops!). There are also many fine dining and casual restaurants all within easy reach of the property!
Golf:
There are plenty of golf courses in the area outside of the 27 hole course the home is located on! These include, to name but a few: Tara, Greenfield Plantations, University Park, Palm Aire, Rosedale, waterlefe, and Stoneybrook Golf Club. Stoneybrook Golf Course is an 18 hole, par 72, course designed by Arthur Hills one of the worlds top 5 designers and is situated within the Heritage Harbour Community. Guests play through a landscape, highlighted by mature woods, wetland preserves and lakes which create a truly wonderful blend of strategic risk / reward holes. It's a true golfer's course.
