Excellent flat/studio located in in the heart of Trastevere, meaning to say the heart of Rome. Short distance from Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Vatican Museum and the river Tiber. The recently renewed flat is on the 2 floor inside an ancient building of the XVII century of three floors. It is made up of a small dining area, an American kitchen, bathroom with shower, a confortable double bedroom. It is provided with plasma TV, air conditioning and antique etchings. The very modern and new furniture and the good-quality tapestry characterize this apartment. The owner owns two other very similar apartments in the same building.

Nearest Airport: Fiumicino and Ciampino at 15 Kilometres
From the Airport of Rome Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) it is possible to take the urban train from the airport to the Trastevere Railroad Station and hence a taxi to the apartment or the tramway n° 8 to Piazza Sonnino. From Piazza Sonnino you will get to the apartment in a 3 minutes walk. The route train + taxi or tramway is of about 45 minutes. From the airport of Rome Ciampino it is possible to take a taxi or a shuttle that reaches the Termini Railroad Station. From the Termini Railroad Station it is possible to take a taxi or bus H to Piazza Sonnino. I can also send you a car to pick you up for the same amount than a taxi (some 40 euro for 4).

Notes: The Trastevere area consists of a maze of narrow streets that is still one of the city's most authentically Roman neighbourhoods. Literally translated, Trastevere means 'across the Tiber', which, of course describes its proximity to the historical centre, just southwest on the other side of the river. Trastevere is one of the oldest and typical neighbourhood of the city. The narrow paved streets and allays are plenty of cinemas, cafés and restaurants with tables scattered in the pavement, mostly at Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere and in Viale Trastevere. The churches of Santa Cecilia and San Francesco a Ripa are very remarkable. You will feel you have chosen the ideal place to visit Rome: you only need a good pair of shoes since everything is walking distance. In the morning you can drink a cappuccino and cornetto at the bar round the corner in the same building, in the evening you could sit in the open air restaurant on the other corner and eat the margherita pizza with basilic.
